~Part -three~
"We can't a play a game without instructions right? but this game is not like the other games. It has no instructions, your the one who will find out what is the game the you will play. Well, good luck."
Those are the last words of Mr. Pierce when he left the room, after that, everything went black. We're all inside this huge room which I think is the ballroom. I heard murmurs and whispers around me. The students might've been thinking of what the game is. After a minute they stopped, the air got warm. Warmer, warmer till I felt my skin burn. Then the lights went on and a girl screamed at the top of her lungs.
It was Rose. The tallest girl at class. Students hurried to where she was and Emily asked her what happened."Where's Aimee?! She was just right here beside me!"
We tried to search around the room which is just a big hall with no other rooms. Is this the game? Find the one who's missing? This is some piece of crap. I tried to open the door but it was locked. There are windows in this room, but it's too hard to climb up and reach it. I banged the door several times when a hand stopped me.
"It's no use Ray. M-maybe this is part of the game."
Andrew said to me in a calming voice. I tried to erase the fact that our teacher is messing with us. Maybe this really is the game, but how can we play if they trapped us here?
I looked at the four corners of this huge room. Some I cannot see clearly because some students are blocking it. Then I saw a scratch on the wall beside me. I reached for it and it's like the wallpaper is ripped. I notice something scribbled behind the wallpaper and I tear it further.
Roman numerals...odd.
Then there was a ringing tone that made all the students to stop and listen. It was Emily's phone. Then one by one,our phones started ringing. I got my phone on my pocket and it popped up that I receive a message from an unknown number. I read the message and it says 'Find the numbers-' but there weren't any numbers in the message. Maybe it's the one I saw behind the wallpaper! I quickly typed the numbers on my phone and send it to the unknown number. My phone rang again and it's another message from him.
-very well then. Try finding more to unlock the door.-
I tried to rip the wallpaper of the whole wall. My classmates seeing me shouted.
"Hey you freak! What are trying to do?!"
I ignored it and continued ripping off the wallpaper. I saw at the corner of my eyes that Rose,Emily,Michaela, and Andrew were approaching me.
"What is it Ray?"
Emily asked me."I know we all received the same messages,I got the first message answered. Now I'm looking for the second."
They all gasped.
"You got a second message?!"
Rose shouted.
I nodded at them and pointed to the scribbled roman numerals on the wall. I saw them typing at their phoned and they helped me rip off the whole wallpaper of the whole area. All the students are helping too. There was this rectangular cut on one of the walls. It was then I realized it's a door, but there is no handle. I eyed the wall clock on one of the untouched walls.
"They said they can't move it,so they just put it there."
Andrew explained to me.
I walked towards it and noticed that it's numbers are in roman numerals. I assumed that it's like connected to the code or something. There are four hands in this clock which was pretty unusual and there are also four exact numbers that I saw."Four, two, six and twelve."
I whispered to myself and placed every hand to one of the numbers. I shattered the glass covering it and turned the hands. That is when I heard a click.
