Ch 26 - Adoration and Rejection

''Eh? What did you just say?'' Roxy asked Zack once more, unsure if what she heard was real.

''I like you Roxalie Voclain'' Zack confess honestly.

''Eh!!!''

Ash, Alyssa, Kathy and Jax was shocked by Zack unanticipated out of the blue confession.

Even Sapphire and Dexter was flabbergasted by it while Cole kept his cool composure.

Afterwards//

'' Zack have you gone crazy?'' Sapphire stated angrily.

'' Saph there's no need to be angry''Zack replied smiling happily.

'' Of course I should be angry, youlike one of our enemies'' Sapphire remark.

'' Dex tell Zack his out of his mind'' Sapphire said.

Dexter looked at Zack.

'' I didn't expect you to fall for her, how did it happen?'' Dexter said, opposite of what Sapphire asked him to do.

'' Ugh'' Sapphire groaned in the end, giving up and she sits down.

Flashback//

It was a cloudy night and rain suddenly gushed down. Zack was leaning against a light pole as he waited forthe rain to stop. He hated rain because it make him shiver of coldness and mainly wet throughout his body. Zack sits down on the ground looking helpless.

Along the way Roxy was walking back from a store not too far to buy some snacks until she saw a figureleaning against the light pole. She approached the person and place her umbrella to cover the person from the rain. Roxy sits down to get a closer looked of the person.

'' Are you ok?'' she asked and the person looked up at Roxy.

'' Yeah'' Zack replied.

Roxy smiled with relief.

'' I'm glad..'' Roxy replied unknown it was Zack because the rain had messed up his rain.

'' Here have some hot drink'' Roxy stated handing him a can of hot drink.

''Thanks..'' he replied while takingit.

'' Your welcome'' Roxy replied back.

'' Wait a second.. Zack'' Roxy finally recognized him.

'' In the flesh'' Zack replied.

'' What are you doing under the rain?''Roxy asked.

'' I was going home when the rain came pouring down''Zack explained shortly.

'' Here you can take umbrella to go back home'' Roxy said.

'' I can't..'' Zack refuses nicely.

'' Don't worry about me, I can take a taxi'' Roxy replied.

Roxy handed Zack the umbrella and before she leave Roxy observe Zack face for a moment.

She took out a napkin from her pocket and wipes Zack forehead.

'' You have dirt on yourforehead'' Roxy mumbled softly.

Zack stare at Roxy face and slowly felt himself falling into her warm presence
Roxy looked at him and they both stare at each other.

''Hm?'' Roxy responded.

'' You fell for her because she wipe dirt off your face?'' Dexter responded.
