Emma's pov

Today was the day.
I have a huge test in math today and I've been studying all week for it. It's will determine or not weather if I can continue to play for our high school softball JV team.  It's very important for me. Not only will it determined me to have motivation in school the one to the last game of the season there will be a "visitor" writing down names for scholarships! I need this more than ever. I jumped up and recurled my hair. I showered last night and curled it, when it air dried, so it was better to do this morning. It didn't take me that long. I put on a little bit of mascara. I grabbed my tooth brush and tooth paste and you know the rest.

Anyway,
After brushing my teeth I applied some lip gloss. I went to my closet and took out some of my black softball sweats I got last season. I threw on a clean black tank top, along with a mint green sweater. I grabbed my phone and checked the time. Damn, I was doing well for me. Haha. Unusual! Busy day I guess.

I put on some deodorant and added some of my favorite perfume. I put my phone in my pocket and grabbed my bag, throwing it over my shoulder with one strap. I ran downstairs, my mom was at the table with coffee looking at the wall. She's been missing my brother jack. Him and his best friend jack gilinsky are on tour. Producing music, YouTube videos, and vines is how they got to where they are. I'm really proud of them both. They are my brothers how could I not be.

I grabbed a muffin and sat down beside her.
"Mom, he won't be too much longer. He's okay I promise." I said to her grabbing her attention from thin air. "Oh goodness, yes you are right Emma bell." She said faking a smile. I could still see the hurt in her eyes. "I miss him too. It's for him though mom. He's doing a great job." I said. She finally realized, well pulled from her sadness and realized it was for him.

"You should get going. Big day baby girl!" She said making me excited. I giggled and nodded. I stood up and kissed her forehead. She smiled and wished me luck as I went out to my car and headed to the end of the corner before shoving the muffin in my mouth. I was clearly hungry. Haha who am I kidding I'm always hungry.
