MB Imagine: Private concert

Hello everybody my name is Tonya and I live in Augusta Georgia. Around this time you may have heard that the AATW tour is coming to town. I was so hyped. I remember seeing my city posted up on the official tour dates list back in May. I was so happy. I told mom and dad could they buy me tickets so that I could go. All last month in June I bought at least two cute outfits for when I wanted to see the boys. They both looked good on me so I bought both. The night when I’ll see the boys is on Aug. 8 aka my bday! I’m fourteen going on 15 and the boys mean so much to me, that you just don’t know. Last year when I went to the #1 Girl Tour I didn’t get to meet the boy’s cuz VIP was sold out.  It’s ok tho cuz this year I will be able to see them.

My best friend courtlen was 16. Me and her were going to the concert dressed like twins, but today she has some bad news to tell me and that it’s really important.

Me: *nervous* OMG what’s the bad news?

Courtlen: I don’t know how to say this but, two days ago I just found out that the Augusta concert, OUR concert has been cancelled.

Me: *confused* WAIT! WHAT? STOP LYIN LEN.

C: I’m not lying to you. It’s official.

Me: *shakes head* I don’t believe you.

C: It’s true tho. Fans were upset that another concert on the tour has been cancelled.

Me: OMG!!! That’s so terrible, but why us?

C: I don’t know. I’m on the “Augusta Entertainment Complex” venue website and they are confirming that the show is cancelled.

Me: so what do they say?

C: *reads screen* “For Immediate Release: All Around The World Tour featuring Mindless Behavior has been cancelled. Augusta, GA - July 11, 2013. Technical difficulties have caused Mindless Behavior to shorten their US Tour dates. Therefore, the show scheduled in Augusta, Georgia on August 8, 2013 at The Bell Auditorium has been cancelled. We regret the inconvenience.  Thank you for your consideration and understanding.”

Me: Awww man.

C: yep. They also tell us where to go so that we can get our refund back.

Me: Oh that’s nice.

C: So how ya feeling Tonya?

Me: terrible.

C: Well, maybe there’s some good in this.

Me: How?

C: well at least your parents get their money back.

Me: Yea, but what about me? I don’t get anything out of this except heartbreak and disappointment. I mean it will be my 15th bday and I wanted to see MB. *breaks down crying*

C: *consoles her* I know, I know. It’ll be alright. Trust me. You have been to their tour last year remember?

Me: *sniffs* yea, but I wasn’t able to meet them because VIP was sold out and now this tour the concert has been cancelled…*cries*

Tonya cried and cried. A month has passed and it is now Tonya’s bday. Aug 8, the day that MB was supposed to perform at the Bell Auditorium at 7pm. Her parents got their refund and decided to do something special for Tonya’s bday today. Tonya was lying in bed, crying her eyes out under the covers and her mom decided to check in on her. It’s 8 am.

Mom: *whispers* Tonya honey, is it ok for me to come in?

Tonya: sure

Mom crept in to check on me. She sat down next to me and rubbed my hand,
