I walked down the hallway, blindfolded yet again (I'm seriously getting sick of this), and I was most defenitely NOT wearing the dress that Kylo told me to. I was still wearing my black mask though, I'd take it off only for a moment when I had to.

Kylo sat at a lonely table of two in a huge room. I walked up to him and sat down, crossing my arms over my chest.
He wasn't wearing his mask, nor his cloak, but instead he was dressed rather nicely for a change.
"So?" I broke the silence between us and he seemed to snap out of his thoughts.
"So what?" he questioned, making me roll my eyes so hard back I saw the time I was born.
"Why all this? Dinner? Just for me to take off my mask? Jesus, you're one dramatic teenage girl."
He chuckled lightly and motioned someone to bring us something fancy to drink.
"It was partly for you to take off your mask, but also because you're a complete mystery to me. I know almost nothing about you and how you ended up like... well, being the person you are today-"
"A monster. You can just say it, I don't care", I scoffed and sipped on the red wine someone brought to the each of us.
"You may be many things, Y/N L/N, but you are most defenitely not a monster. You shouldn't call yourself that", I opened my mouth to talk but he stopped me by raising his hand, "I know you have killed, done many horrible things, and maybe felt happy too sometimes when you've killed, but you can't change the fact that you're human. So please, don't call yourself that anymore."
What? I was speechless. Why was he saying all this?
To win me over? Not going to happen anytime soon. Still, it felt... nice, to there be someone who didn't fear me, who understood me at some level at least.
"Thank you", I said quietly.

Maybe now was finally the time.

I slowly reached my hands for my mask, taking it off of my face.
This was it, there was no turning back now.

Minutes passed, and Kylo remained silent. Suddenly I felt uncomfortable, sitting under his gaze without my mask. He was staring, and I looked anywhere but his eyes. I knew what he was thinking.

Disgusting.

"Why do hide your face under that mask?" he finally asked me.
I just shrugged it off like it was nothing, though it really wasn't. It was a huge deal for me.
"A lot of people don't like me and I don't really like me either I guess."
"...I don't unerstand you at all Y/N L/N... You are a mystery indeed..." he mumbled lost in thought yet again.
"Would you just stop calling me by my full name?" I snapped and reached out my hand for my mask but he took it first.
"Nope, you're not wearing that when it's just you and me", he chuckled again, "It's whatever when we're out there with other people but when we're alone? I prefer seeing your face, thank you, which doesn't look half as bad as you think it does by the way."
My face flushed a little and I reached out for my mask again,
"Give it back, Kylo."
"You can just call me Ren you know", he said so quietly I almost didn't even hear him.
"Whatever, just give. It. Back!"
He sighed, and finally did give it back before suddenly standing up.

"Where are you going?" I asked confused.
"To my room?" he said cocking one of his eyebrows. What?
"But we haven't even had dinner yet..." I mumbled. He just shrugged it off.
"You took off you mask, didn't you? There's no reason for me to be here anymore, now that I know that you're not any of my enemies for sure. Training tomorrow at six in the morning, I'll send someone to get you. No excuses for being late. Good night for now, Y/N L/N, sweet dreams."

So that's it? He was being all nice simply because he wanted me to take off the mask? Tears dwelled up in my eyes.

You're such a crybaby, Y/N.
