The Petrova Sisters

The Petrova bloodline started with a girl named Tatia, a exquisite beauty. In the 10th century every man wanted to be her suitor even though she had a child with another man. Including 2 of the Mikaelson brothers, Niklaus and Elijah. Later Tatia's blood was used to turn the Mikaelsons into vampires and binding Klaus' wolf side. But no one knew that a very powerful witch saved Tatia and turned her into a vampire.

Years later in 1492 the 1st Petrova doppelgänger Katerina was meant to be sacrificed to unlock Klaus' wolf side. But with the help of a vampire named Trevor, Katerina escaped and turned into a vampire running from Klaus for eternity.

In 1865 1 year after Katherine (or Katerina) turned the Salvatore brothers into vampires Katherine and Tatia met in a bar in New Orleans. Tatia agreed to help Katherine hide from Klaus. They became so close they were sisters.

Over 100 years later word came around that there was another Petrova girl in Mystic Falls that survived the hybrid curse with the help of a Bennett witch. Katherine and Tatia knew that Klaus would find out that the newest Petrova was alive and would need her blood to make a army of hybrids. They both decided to go to Mystic Falls and help her escape Klaus.

Elena's POV (aka the newest Petrova)

It's been a week since the hybrid sacrifice and I am so happy to be alive. But guilt lingered since John (my biological father) died in my place. But tonight is senior prank night at school and I intend to have fun with my friends Bonnie, Matt, Caroline, and Tyler.

"Hey Elena could you go get some more tape"? Caroline asked.

"Sure" I replied leaving the gym. I opened the door to Mr.Saltzman's class room and gasped. There stood 2 girls that looked exactly like me.

"Well you must be Elena."
