The Petrova Sisters

A single tear ran down Katherine's cheek. I instantly felt grief and guilt. I'd been told stories about Katherine about how she was evil and only did what she wanted. But of course the stories came from Damon and Stefan.

"After I was turned I returned home to Bulgaria to see my parent even though they had sent me away. When I reached my house my instinct told me that something was wrong. Then the smell of blood hit my nose. I rushed in and I found my family dead, murdered by Klaus." Katherine said while clearly trying to hold back her tears but another one escaped.

I got off the bed rushed to Katherine's side. Sitting next to her I pulled her into my arms and she sat there and cried soaking my shirt.

"I know what it's like to lose family to Klaus." I told her as tears formed in my eyes. Thoughts of my mom, dad, Isobel, John, and Jenna filled my mind causing my tears to escape.

We sat there holding each other and sobbing for our losses. Finally we had managed cry out all of our tears.

"Why did you show me your past"? I asked wondering why this girl that looked so strong, that had claimed she didn't care had shown me her past.

"Because I saw that look you have me in the car. You were curious on what happened to me. I figured that you deserved to know." She said.

"Thank you Katherine" I said trying to break the tension in the room by putting a smile on my face. Katherine smiled to and we began laughing about nothing. Then Tatia rushed into the room.

Our laughter stopped when we saw the look on her face. She walked over to me and took my my hands and pulled me off the ground.

"We don't have much time until Klaus finds out where we are. Elena you have to decide if you want to come with us. If want to continue on with us you'll have to be turned into a vampire." Tatia said as if it was an everyday conversation.

Katherine looked at me, her eyes filled with care. She said "I get if you want to leave but I'd miss you a lot if you left."

I looked into her eyes or mine that had nothing but care. "I'd miss you to" Tatia said.

I closed my eyes as my mind mentally battled between my two decisions. Finally I knew what to do.

"I want to come with you guys" I said.

"Great now let's get this over with." I guess the old Katherine is back.

I watched her bite her wrist and offer up her blood. Walking over to her I drank her blood until she pulled away.

"Alright we'll see you in a few hours" and the world went black.
