The Petrova Sisters

I woke up and groaned when I felt my sore neck. I opened my eyes and saw that I was in what looked like a princess' bedroom. It there was old paintings, beautiful decor, and...and then the smell hit me. The smell was amazing and I was drawn to it like a magnet.

I get off the bed and walk to the door feeling my face change. Then I caught my reflection in a mirror and gasped.

I turned and walked toward the mirror terrified but also intrigued by my new face.

My eyes had turned from chocolate brown to a horrific red with black veins making their appearance. My mouth had 2 sharp elongated teeth.

I was confused as to what had happened until recent events flooded back into my memory. I remembered Katherine snapping my neck. Then it hit me. I now had to drink human blood if I wanted to live. I was in transition.

Suddenly a shriek cut through the air pulling me from my thoughts. The smell of blood hit my nose again and the vampire inside took over. I followed my nose to the source of the blood.

I ran down the halls until I found a blonde on the floor with bite marks on her arms and neck. Then I noticed Tatia and Katherine on the other side of the girl with blood dripping down their chins. They watched me expectantly. I moved towards the girl bloodlust clouding my mind until the blonde looked up at me with fear in her eyes. The humanity in me broke through and I backed away feeling my face return to normal.

I helped the girl off the ground and said "now go home and don't stop until your safely inside."

I let go of her hand expecting her to run but instead she fell to the ground from blood loss.

"She's been compelled to stay here and since your not a vampire you can't do anything to help her" Katherine said. She then picked the girl off the ground and pushed her towards me. I caught her and the scent hit my nose again.

"Don't fight it Elena. This is your nature now" Tatia encouraged. And I did. My vampire features came out and I bit her neck.

I moaned as her blood rushed into my mouth. Then I dropped the dead body on the floor.

Katherine walked over and put her hands on my shoulders.

"Congrats Elena your officially a vampire. Now lets teach you how to hunt" Katherine said.
