Playing Test, or Game to the Death?

The end of the day bell had gone off, and the seventh grade orchestra students of of Mr. Green's class stood up and started to leave, when sir Green called them back to their seats. "Please sit back down, I have news about our next playing test. I have asked the band students to return at the end of the day as well," said Green. All of the students sat back down. Abby, Hannah, Sabrina, and Livy all looked at each other with puzzled looks. "What the bloody he'll is this?" Asked Abby. "No idea," replied Amanda. The band students entered the room one by one and took their seats, or whatever seats we're open. When the last of the band students we're seated, Mr. Green closed the door then stood in front of the students with his arms crossed and his serious Mr.Green expression on his face. "I bet you're all wondering why I've gathered you here today," says Mr. Green. Abby and Livy burst out into laughter, having previously read a joke about that exact lime of words. They received strange looks from all around the room until they finally got a hold of themselves. "Anyways, this quarters playing test will be how would you say, slightly different from all of the others," Mr. Green tells the students. "If we pass, do we get donuts?" Asks Tanner being his donut hyptonitzed, regular self. "Shut up Tanner," Abby, Brookelynn, Livy, and Jailyn all say in unison. Tanner slouched back down, defeated. "Continue, please," Livy says to Mr. Green. "Well this quarters playing test will be, how do you say, different," says Green, now with an evil sparkle in his eye. "It will be a game, a competition," he says. At this, the two classes erupted into conversation. "We all have to gang up against Tanner!" Livy says loudly, several others agree.
"Alright, alright, calm down, I haven't told you what kind of game yet," Green says with an evil grin. "Oh no guys it's evil Green, this is gonna be bad," says Abby. "This competition will be... To the death," says Mr. Green. With that the two classes burst into laughter, thinking this was a joke. But Mr. Green still had that evil grin on his face. "Wait, you can't be serious, we can't actually be fighting to the death," says Olivia. "On the contrary Ms. Burnett, that is exactly what we will be doing," says Mr. Green. "What? Mr. Green there has to be some school rule against this, you can't actually let us die," says Brookelynn. "Well, in writing, all of my curriculums and testing must be based on music, and this will be," says Green. "How is fighting to the death musically based?" Asked Joey. "Well, you will all be allowed one usual weapon, but other than that one weapon, you will all be using musical instruments to fight, and defend yourselves," Green replies. "Hah, very funny Mr. Green but when would you ever sacrifice any of our instruments for anything," Livy asks. "Well Ms. Cates, I have recently won the lottery, and I will use that to buy those of you who are useful new instruments, " replies Green. "What do you mean those of us, won't there only be one of us left?" Asks Jack. "Your so called districts will be your musical instruments sections, and before you ask, Livy and Amanda you will have to choose with which instrument section your loyalties lie. The remaining instrument section will win well, life and fast lane passes for our trip to cedar point. And I am also in possession of the resurrection stone, and for those of you who do not know, the stone allows me to bring whomever I want back to life. And as for you people who are the only ones in your section, Jack and Andrew you will be one district together, and Joey and Alex, you will also be in a district together," Green tells them. "Wait, don't you think it's a little unfair that some districts have like five people and others have two," says Kevin. "Life is unfair Kevin," says sir Green. "Yeah Kevin, get over it," says Livy. "Easy for you to say, you have freaking five people in your district, Livy," says Jack. "Shut up, Jack nobody asked for your opinion," Livy shoots back. "Wow I really wonder who will be the first to kill who," says Sabrina. "Would all of you just stop okay no one is killing anybody, Mr. Green you can't make us kill each other," says Samantha. "Oh yes I can,.unless all of you want to fail band and/or orchestra this quarter," Mr. Green says raising his eyebrows. Everyone pipes down at this, not wanting to fail. Karley and Maria even stay. "When will this start?" Asks Hannah. "Well according to my calculations..... Today!" Says Mr. Green. "Today?" The classes echo back. "Yes, during this discussion we have been traveling to a remote island in the middle of the Pacific ocean. The instruments will be there along with a selection of standard weapons for you to choose one of. Although your districts are relative to your instrent, you will be able to choose what instremts you use as weapons," explained Mr. Green. Then a shaking sensation went throughout what was thought to be the classroom. "It seems we have landed," said Mr. Green. He opened the door to reveal a rainforest on a gloomy beach. "Please, feel free to explore!"
