Embers p.o.v

"will you shut up! You're to damn loud." A voiced growled lowly.

"Says the one growling." Another voice retorted.

"how about both of you shut the hell up?" I spat sitting up and looking at them.

Where the hell am I? The last think I remember was that little dick strangling me!

"Your at the bosses house." One of the boys looked at me and I just rose my eye brow.

They must be talking about Erin.

"where is the dick head?" I snapped glaring at them.

One of their jaws dropped while the other looked a little mad.

"Don't call boss a dick head you little bitch." He snarled at me and I just rolled my eyes.

"Calm down Clyde! We both know the boss would have our heads if he knew what you just called her." A boy with a buzz cut stated and Clyde just scoffed.

"why would he get mad over such a small thing like her? He could do so much better." Clyde muttered.

"why don't you shut you're bitch ass up Clyde before I shove my foot up your ass." I growled.

He definitely see that one coming because he looked taken back.

"what the hell is going on here?" A loud voice boomed causing all of us to freeze and look behind us.

"Boss." Buzz cut said looking at him.

"Is Some body going to tell me what
Happened or am I gonna have to beat it out?" Erin growled stepping closer to us.

"Just putting this little bitch in her please sir." Clyde looked down.

A loud crunch like noise echoed through out the room making me cringe.

I looked over at Clyde only to see Him
On the floor holding his bloody broken nose.

"Come again?" Erin spat at Clyde who was now shaking in fear.

"N-nothing sir" Clyde stuttered in fear and Erin just smirked.

"That's what I thought."  He smirked and turned to face me.

"I was wondering when you would wake up kitten." Erin looked at me and i just glared at him.

"I'd still be awake if it wasn't for someone trying to bloody strangle me!"
I growled.

"watch it kitten! I'm pretty sure that yesterday i showed you that I'm not afraid to put you back in your place." He looked at me and I just crossed my arms.

Dick.

"Whatever i muttered looking away from him.

He grabbed my arm and began to drag me somewhere i looked around and saw a long ass hall way.

"Where the hell are you taking me now?" i asked.

"somewhere." he spoke with no emotion in his voice , he sounded like a damn robot.

"Who were those guys back there?" i asked.

"i left them there to guard you." he responded.

"Its not like i could have ran away while i was unconscious." i muttered trying to get out of his grip.

"Some of the boys in my gang don't know who you are to me and would have taken advantage of you." he growled and i just stared at the floor.

"You do realize that i can walk on my own right?" i questioned him trying to hint at him so he would release me.

"Yes."

"Then do you mind letting go of my arm?" i asked him and he just shook his head.

"Nope." i could practically see that dumb smirk on his face right now.

"When am i going home?" i asked and he stopped walking.

"You aren't."

My eyes widened "What do you mean i'm not going home?" i asked.

"It means you aren't going home" he said in a-matter-of-fact tone.

"You have to let me go! i have to get back to my mother." i yelled trying to yank my hand out of his grip.

"You need to calm down." he turned around looking back at me. .

"You don't understand! She doesn't have that much time left!" I screamed thrashing around, trying to get out of his arms.

All of a sudden I felt a sharp pain in the back of my arm. I turned my head only to see Aiden holding a needle with a sad expression on his face.

My eyes started to get real heavy and my body was tired.

And just like that I was out.

ERINS P.O.V

She fell limp in my arms , her cheeks stained from the tears and the make up that she had on earlier.

I brushed a stray piece of hair behind her ear and lifted her Body up so I was holding her bridal style.

"I want you to go find out what she was referring to earlier." I looked at Aiden and he nodded.

"Right away boss." He replied before leaving the room.

I sighed looking down at her.

If only she could just understand that she can't leave. It's to much of a risk and I don't want those damn cops near our hide out.

I walked back up to my room and gently laid her down on my bed.

She looks so innocent.

So .... Pure.

She's the light to my darkness.

She just doesn't know it yet. I've waited a long time for someone like her and I'm not gonna let her slip through my finger tips. I will do whatever it takes to keep her here safe and sound with me.

I heard a knock on my door and got up to see who it was.

"Sir we have received the Information you wanted."

I walked out side the room gently closing the door behind me.

"Apparently her mother is in the hospital due to an extreme illness."  Liam reported to me.

"How much estimated time does she have left?" I asked.

"Possibly two weeks or less." He looked down and I sighed.

Maybe I should let her see her mother one more time. I would have to accompany her of course. If not me than one of the boys.

"Reschedule the meeting for tomorrow to next Thursday." I told him turning back around to me room.

"Why is that?" He asked clearly confused.

Not surprised.

I never do anything for anyone other than my self unless it benefits me in some way.

"we're going to visit that woman." I said disappearing back into my room.

I mean it's the least I could do for the girl after almost killing her.

Besides her mother only has two estimated weeks left so she will no longer be in the way of making my angel want to escape from me.
