They are all lies
Lies that comfort the heart
For a short while they give life
Then they disintegrateWords like love and beauty
Words that create more predicaments
Words that feed of from the broken
With every flesh ribbed comes more tragedyI stand alone watching the waves
And I wonder for a momentWhat it would be like if you meant your words
And the world wasn't against usI bitterly fail to accept
The " I love you " that you utter
So I close the door for silence speaks louder than wordsAnd I leave you standing there
Waiting, just waiting
For love that doesn't foster the brokenFor its lies that you have spoken

The Chronicles Of My Mind
PoetryWith the gaping void inside of my heart, I lift my pen and splatter its ink. Letters, words, sentences and paragraphs. Emotion too immense to utter, seeking empathy, the tears fall one by one, then oceans. A poem- the result of such melancholy.
