Emily. 🌸

A couple of months had passed, and I was near better. I was on my way to being my normal weight, and I was no longer depressed. Night after night, I would have dreams of chance coming back home. To me.

(A/N: I keep fucking forgetting his name fucking fuck sorry lol.)

I was let out of the hospital ward nearly a week ago, and im on the right track. I can't say life without Chance is easier then before, but is sure is calming. It was all so hectic with him.., he caused trouble. But I know somewhere deep down in my heart, I still love him.

Me and Amy were at the beach, eating our blue and pink slushys. The cold flavored ice running down my throat, cooling my insides on a boiling hot day. We were talking about what we were going to do to night, the club maybe?

It was then , that I got a phone call.

Amy rolled her eyes as she was interrupted by my loud ringing phone. I laughed and answered it by crossing my finger over the top of the screen.

"Hello,?" I said sticking my straw in the cup, crushing the thick ice.

"Hi, is this Emily?" The other side of the line asked quietly. I furrowed my eyebrows a little. If they had my number.., they would know who I was.. right?

"Sure is.., whos this??" I asked confused. Amy saw the confused look on my face and bit her straw.

"This is Constable Terry, just calling to inform you that your partner is heading to court tonight." They finished. My eyes widened and I began choking on my flavored ice. I hacked it back down and coughed once more. "Partner?" I asked averting my eyes to Amy.

"Yes, Chance?" They replied, in more of a question. I hadn't heard of the name in a while. My blood froze, again.

"Why didnt I get further notice? Is he okay? Where is he?!" I asked slamming my cup down and standing up out of my chair.

"Hes fine mam, he is in solitary confinement for now until tonight, the judge will decide guilty or not. Further notice was postponed for the Judges reasons." He finished sighing. I kicked my chair back under the table with my boot and grabbed my bag. Amy quickly followed behind me as I raced to her car.

"Why do I have to be there.?" I asked pacing faster.

"He wants you there." They answer.

"What if I do to want to be there?!" I asked growing angry.

"Then you don't have to come." They said.

I sighed, thinking about it. He is my boyfriend.. What kindve girlfriend would I be If I wasn't there to see him go.. To be honest I think it's quite fair, since I still have no idea why he is being locked away.

"Listen, I have to go. Just think about it. The jury will open the doors to the court room at four."

I heard the faint clicking noise , the notice I had dreaded ever since...

nevermind.

I hadn't realized, but I was leaning against the hood of Amy's car. Amy was standing there, obviously listening to our conversation. She pursed her lips at me as I propped my phone up on the hood. I looked down, my hair creating a curtain around my face.

"Who was that..?" She asked aimlessly. I looked up ahead of me, staring at the scented car accessory. (SP?)

"Nobody.."

She glared at me like I was her ex or something. I looked away from her and sighed. She won't accept my decision to go. What she doesn't know won't hurt her.

"Okay, it was my mum." I said plainly. She rolled her eyes and went to go hop into the drivers seat.

"Oh." She said laughing.

I smiled and forced out a little chuckle. I hopped into the passenger seat and bit my lip. Now I feel the guilt.

"So what did mum want?" She asked, obviously wanting me to pick up the smart sentence. I giggled and shook my head.

"She just wanted to ask if.." I paused for a second .. trying not to look like I was thinking. I heard her groan. "Could you be any slower?!" She asked , the heat getting to her head. "If I wanted to go our for lunch tomorrow." I finished, looking out the window.

"Oh cool.." She said tapping the steering wheel.

I averted my eyes to her at her tone.

"What's wrong?" I asked curiously.

She shrugged. "Nothing."

I nodded and forgot about it.

I saw in the rear view mirror as she row ever eyebrow at me. "This is the part when you say 'tell me' like a normal sister would do." She said looking at the radio. I laughed and she cracked a smile. "Tell me!" I said with fake desperation.

"I thought we were you going out tomorrow night." She said licking her lips. My eyes shot open. I forgot.

"Shit sorry.. I completely forgot. We can do that another night right?" I asked hopefully. She sighed. "Fine." She finished.

I blew her a kiss and made her smile.

We got home, and got to rest. I have a big day ahead of me..,
