Cheated

Rachel's POV

"C'mon Trevor! Hurry up! "

"I'm coming , I'm coming . God , Rachel, your such a bully"

We both laughed. Knowing that he was a slow poke but I could be pretty bossy. Trevor and I had been friends for years. We weren't the nicest to each other but we understood the other. Trevor was like a brother to me. We knew everything about each other. From whose favorite color was green (him) to whose celebrity crush was Mark Patton (me).

" we have to hurry if we're gonna get there in time for the mail man!" I yelled behind me.

" you just want to see the latest issue of GossipNews because you-know-who's in it" he shot back.

It's true. Mark Patton has and forever will be my celeb crush . Ever since I was 10 he was like my dream boyfriend. Talk about obsession.

" well duh! " I giggled and ran faster.

Since we were on the track team together running wasn't an issue . It was one of those things that bonded us.

"Ok trev we both know. That your faster than I am so explain to me how I'm way ahead of you and we're supposed to be running to my house?"

" shutup and keep going well get there in time! I promise. "

Suddenly I could see my house a little ways ahead.

"Thank God! We're almost there! And I can see him just rounding the corner"

"Well then go faster! " he shouted into the wind.

My house was the second one from the corner and was only about a mile away from the school. Trevor lived a block away from me so we'd meet up in the mornings and part in the same place at night. It was routine for us.

We finally arrived at the house just in time for me to grab the mail from the quiet man's hand before he drove off to the next house. I waited for Trevor all the while stretching and searching the magazine that made me happiest.

" I told you we'd make it" he said to me as he jogged up to where I was standing.

I screamed as loud as I could when I found it and said, "Let's go inside!"

Trevor grabbed two glasses of ice cold water and set one of them on my bedside table before settling in the chair across from my bathroom.
