This swarm of girls racing towards Trevor and I actually seem insane. Geez, what's their problem? I thought. At the front of the crowd was a very scared-looking young man.

"Maybe we should keep out of this one" Trevor said in response to the crazy mob. He actually looked kind of scared.

"Aw, c'mon Trev. We are not those kinds of people that ignore something that is obviously going to end up in some disturbing way." I looked up at him trying to convince him. This needed to happen fast. The girls were practically sprinting towards us. One block away, a crowd was in the midst of forming at the sight if the large commotion. "Ughhh" he sighed. "I guess we could help him"

"Yes! Ok so what should we do?"

"I thought you had a plan for that" he stared at me expectantly. The mob of girls was about 30 feet away. The man was picking up speed, looking back every once in a whil to make sure the girls weren't getting too close. Crap. He's going to lose this race if we don't think of something quick. My best friend and I just stood there trying to rapidly formulate a plan for this poor guy.

"In there!" I call out to Trevor, gesturing to an old antique store that was hardly noticeable in a very dirty alley about 5 feet away. How did we miss that? We stood out of sight of the chase until the guy ran right in front of us, when Trevor grabbed his arm and hauled into the store, the door being held then shut as quickly and quietly as I could manage. The two guys fell to the floor before Trevor stood up so we could examine and conjure an explanation from the stranger. "Um Rachel" Trevor whispered. I turned from my guard position at the door. I had to make completely sure the girls didn't see or follow us. Otherwise our plan wouldn't have been very effective.

"What?" I ask, spinning around on my heels. "Who-" I stopped as quickly as I had started the sentence beginning to form in my mouth. Suddenly, darkness swallowed up my vision and I collapsed. The last thing I felt was a pair of arms waiting to catch me from hitting my head on the cold, hard ground of the store.

The second I awoke was the moment t my memory jumped in to help me understand the situation. Was I hallucinating or was the person in front of me truly and comepletely Mark Patton. I was, for the first time ecstatically speechless. "Well you're not dreaming. Which for the first time I wish was a little true" Trevor said completely unhappy. Although I couldn't comprehend his sudden disappointment in finding my dreams, I was too excited to care. I mean no offense or whatever, but this happened to be the best day of my life. My face must have been the easiest thing to read in the world right now because before I could say anything, I was cut off by him say "Please. Whatever you do don't scream. I've honestly had all the boy-crazy girl fans I can take today." He chuckled.

"Who me?", I giggled, "I don't plan on screaming. Well I was going to but now I'm calm. I think. Maybe I'm not. Either way it doesn't matter because I've been dreaming of this day my whole life. I mean not like this, but actually a little.. no a LOT different,, but you know haha it's not like I care how it happened. All that matters is that it happened and ohmygosh I'm rambling. Please help me" Trevor quickly put his hand over my mouth before I could say anymore than I had already said. I took a deep breath. Well... a couple.

"She's a reallly big fan of yours" Trevor said.

"Oh, trust me. I can tell" Mark replied.

"Sorry, I don't mean to freak you out. I'm Rachel, by the way. And this is Trevor" I said nervously awaiting his reply. A million things were racing through my mind and I swear my heart was pounding so loud I was afraid the crazy girls would find us if they heard it.

"You two are real lifesavers." He laughed before continuing," I don't think I need to introduce myself, but since you seem to be finding it hard to believe this is reality, partly because you fainted, I'm Mark Patton". I could feel the intense het rising up to my cheeks. Oh god, I'm probably better at embarassing myself than my mother is. "Well, anyways I definitely owe you two big time, so why don't you give me your numbers or whatever and I'll call you fo dinner or something yeah?"

I nodded eagerly before surrending a piece of paper with seven neatly printed digits and mine and Trevor's names. Mark smiled at us before ducking out into the busy streets of L.A. , to attempt at not being found again. Trevor and I found our way to the coffee shop before making our way back to the hotel, me trying to fully understand what happened and Trevor seemingly enjoying his coffee with a contemplation of life look on his face, which usually means "leave me alone for now, I'm thinking". I guess we'll talk about it later. I call my mother that night and wish her a safe spring break (even though it's me she's inevitably worried about) and hit the pillow without a word, before almost passing out again, this time from exhaustion.
