Ok so you know about the band and some of there hits but do you know about how they are formed, well I intend to tell all my readers every bit of information I know about them right down to the very end. Here is how they 1st formed and literally The Day He 1st Came (Ryan Tedder). Half of the band members met at high school and the rest in college and all hooked up to Ryan Tedder. Ryan Tedder picks the people to come to the band although Zack helped him form the band and the members are all long lasting friends of both Ryan, Zack and all the other members. In 1996 Ryan Tedder and Zack Filkins tried to form there 1st band named This Beautiful Mess but failed to keep the band alive cause they both went to two different colleges. The band OneRepublic is from Colorado Springs, Colorado.

This part is about The Day the BAND 1st made an album & The Day they 1st got sign to a record label. The band's 1st big hit was in 2003 when the band got signed by Velvet Hammer. They produced the 1st album at Rocket Carousel ,Studios produced by Grey Wells in fall 2005 in Culvert City, California. There 1st album was scheduled for release on June 6, 2006 but was released on 2007. The lead song of there 1st album is "Apologize" and was released in 2005. Dream Out Loud was there 1st album name. They got a Grammy nomination for "Apologize."
