A/n: ok, so I've heard from the people who I haven't explained the whole story plot to, that edit my book for me that I need to just explain all their back stories, but for the main ish characters, like carter, I will probably never do that, so I've decided to just do some bonas back story chapters for everyone. Also for before Aidon knew she was allegiant. And for those people who think this is a romance book, it's not, it just has some romance in it. So it more of a fantasy sci fi thing even though I don't have it in sci-fi, so just bear with it, cuz right now I'm still trying to astonish characters, their relationships with each other and stuff, so I promise all the other crap will go away soon and we'll be down to business. Thank you, and I hope you like it!
Also this is just a bunch of bonas chapters as I'm calling them, but there still good, but they have little to do with the story
And guess what! Carters actually getting a chapter! I feel so proud of him!
Siri is really mean, see pictureCarter: twelve years old, beginning of training.
I've been waiting for this moment for so many years I can't count them. My dad had sent in my letter asking to be put into the army, a few men had come and done a physical on me, then tested what I already knew, and now I was waiting for my dad to finish reading through the letter.
He finally finished and turned his glaring gaze on me, I hated him, it seems like whatever I do isn't enough, it not my fault that he and my mother hadn't been married, and he had been married to another woman when she had me. Now I had a stepmother that I had always refused to call mother and I had no idea what had happened to my mum.
"You got in, although your scores on the test were less than my standards. I shouldn't even let you go for being such a disgrace, but you've been accepted and now it's the academies choice what they do with you. Now get out of my sight, and clean the stables.", he flicked his hand at me, the paper falling to the floor, and I quickly grabbed it and ran off to do as I was told.
As I walked without looking where I was going, reading the letter and looking at my scores. I had scored way above average level on everything but technique, I did tend to use unconventional moves. How were those disgraceful? Most of boys excepted couldn't do half of the stuff I could. I clenched my jaw, and continued reading through the rest of the letter.
I suddenly bumped my head on my older brother. Along with him I have two more younger brothers and a little sister. Peter, the older one is the only one who's nice to me, the others always treat me like crap just like my parents.
He laughed,"hey little bro, what's got your attention so much you can't look right in front of you?", he came up behind me, looking over my shoulder. I had always looked up to him, and now I was going to become a warrior like him.
"I got my letter from the academy, sorry Peter, I was just reading.
" 't's fine, let me see your scores.", he said, taking it and ruffling my reddish-brown hair. All of them either had dark brown or blond hair, and my features were all wrong, I looked nothing like them, but he still treated me like a brother, which is why I put up with his constantly ruffling of my hair.
"Wow! Outstanding in practically everything! I'm proud of you, you'll be a great recruit. That reminds me! We should start getting packed, only a few day 'till we both leave, and we can talk about a few tips I have for you too.", he said walking away.
"I can't right now Peter, father said to clean the stables, but maybe after that.", yes, father, I refused to call him dad, so I used father. Peter nodded.
"You want any help? It'll go faster that way?"
"No, I can manage myself, but thanks.", then I headed to the stables.
