My eyes burst open as I sat up in my bed, huffing and puffing constantly. I look around the room before me, it looks like my room, but it isn't. Everything is where is usually is, desk in front of my bed, and my dresser to the left of where I sleep. However, my room seemed a lot smaller. I noticed a large window in the middle of the room on the right. I got out of bed and slowly walked over to the window. As I opened the blinds brightness completely shot my eyes and everything was a bright, white, blur. As my eyes adjusted to the sun I looked down on my street, it was completely different. I recognized the area I was in, it was still in my district, but it wasn't my street. I looked over to my door and slowly walked over to it. I turned the nob and opened my door. I looked outside at the hallway. down the hall was a white door. I walked down the hall to the door and peeked through the door, it was my mom and dad sleeping in their bed. but there us no third door for my sister, "did I really just wish my sister away?" I thought to myself, I was extremely happy, no more sister to drive me insane! pure happiness! I happily skip back to my room to change into my clothes for the day. I run downstairs pack my bag, then grab some breakfast. I quickly check the time, it's 8:15. I have a lot of time until school so I sat on my couch and turned on the TV. After about 5 minutes of watching tv, my Mom comes down. I tell her "Do you know someone named Kathleen?" she thinks about it, then answers "Nope, Sorry! Why?" I Quickly answer with "No Reason, I'm going to school now" I get up, swoop up my backpack, swing it over my shoulder and drop it on my back. Then I say "Goodbye!!" then open the door, look back at my mom, wave goodbye, then walk through the door and close it behind me. I run down my driveway and walk down the pavement. I check my phone for directions to school then continue to stroll along. As I get to school I wonder if my friends would be any different... If they've changed. As I walk in, I don't notice anything different. I automatically went to go find Tiffany and Torianna. First, Tiffany, Tiffany is a total tomboy, so I expect, her to be with the gamers, which are usually at the library. I walk in and look around, I see the Gamer table. I quickly walk around it and scan the table. She isn't there. I ask one of the boys, he says she's at her locker. I run down the hall to her locker. I slide in front of her and say " Hey Tiff-" she was leaning against the side of her locker applying lipstick. She doesn't do lipstick, EVER. As I stood there, shocked, she answers "do I know you?" I answer "I'm April! Don't you remember me?" "Nope, doesn't ring a bell..." She answers "Well I'd love to talk more, but I should be heading to cheer practice" she says as she walks away. Cheer practice?! The other day she said she will do anything but be a cheerleader, anything! I automatically think, "if that's what happened to Tiffany, what happened to Torrianna?" I rush to home room, we have the same class so I'll look for her there, I walk in, sit at my desk, and wait for the last few people to walk in. Everyone was there, but Torrianna. As the teacher calls out the names, I expect her to call out Torrianna's name, but she doesn't. As I run to math class, I come across Tiffany. I say, "Tiffany!!!" She turns around and looks at me, she answers "Yeah, your name was April right?" I nod my head and say "Quick question, Where exactly is Torrianna?" She stairs at me blankly, looks down, then looks back up at me, "I'm Sorry, but last year Torrianna Died"
Then the whole world hit me, Hard.
