It's Only Just Begun

Chapter 7

This is the day my family comes, and I have no idea how I will tell them. I get dressed in a beautiful green dress that goes to my knees.  Maxon came over to me and hugged me from behind while I was putting in some earrings,  when I tried to get my necklace on I struggled so Maxon helped me.
"I have a gift for you."  Maxon said as he gave me a box with a beautiful red bow.  I opened it with excitement, as I open the black box I see a gold bracelet that has a little heart dangling off of it.
"Wow..."  I say speechless.  "Maxon this is beautiful.  As he helps me put it on.
"This is not only to show you how much I love you but also so if you get nervous anytime during this time you can always know that I there."  He says talking about telling my family, he knows I'm nervous, I'm not doing very well at hiding it.
"And I'll be there holding you hand as well."  He says squeezing my hand and lift it to his mouth to kiss it.

"Maxon, please never feel that you need to show me how much you love me, I know."  I saw as tears run down my face.  He holds me tight.
"I must, you are too amazing, beautiful, and nice for me not to.  He says as I cry in to his shoulder.
My maid Jenn comes in, she has probably heard the rumors running around the palace about my cancer.
"May I come in your majesty?"  Jenn asks concerned that she came at a bad time.
"Please come in."  I say as I wipe my eyes.  Maxon goes and get dressed while the maid does my makeup and hair.  My hair is done up in to a amazing up-do. 
"Wow, thank you Jenn you have a gift."  I say touching my curls.
"Thank you your majesty."  She says slipping out of the room.  I look at the clock, there is only 2 hours until my family comes.  Maxon links arms with me, and he goes to his office and I go to the woman's room.  Ad I sit down in a huge chair, I remember all of the amazing memories of the selection made in this very room, and now I'm the queen.  I think as I look at the clock.  An hour and forty-five minutes until my parents get here.  I try to think about how I'm going to tell my family.  But I figure that the right words will come to me, even though I still don't feel good about the whole thing.  I hear a knock at the door and I get up and open it, it is my doctor.
"Hello your majesty."  He says as he bows.
"Hello."  I say worried about the news to come.
"I have the results of the tests that we did for the breast cancer.  He says looking at me.
"Okay."  I say worried about the news about to come.
" You have stage two cancer, he says getting ready to explain, that means that the cancer hasn't spread but far, but it can, so we should do the procedure soon.  "Khemo". He says.
" Okay."  I say scooting past him to go tell Maxon, crying lightly
"Hello baby."  He says looking at me in every way a girl wants to be looked at.
"Hi Maxon."  I say smiling through my tears.
"What is it honey?"  He says worried as he gets up to hug me.
"It's stage two, it hasn't spread, but it can."  I say crying in to him. 
"It's okay honey."  He says holding me tighter giving me the biggest best hugs I've ever had.
"Your majesty's, your family is here."
