"My family?" I ask wondering why there early.
"Yes your majesty. They said something about an abrupt ending to a phone call." He said as he bowed and then shut the door
"It's okay baby, I will be there with you, I'll be there to hold you hand and I always will." Maxon says making me cry. As Maxon holds me tight I cry in to his white shirt getting mascara all over it. Once I was done my cry fest Maxon put on his suit jacket so no body could see the black marks on his shirt. I got myself together and cleaned of the black streaks off of my face.
"Remind me to ask for some waterproof mascara!" I say trying to lighten the mood. Though that didn't work I could tell Maxon was a nervous as I was maybe even more nervous.
"Are you ready?" Maxon asked holding my hand.
"As ready as I'll ever be." I say holding his hand tight. As we walk down the stairs.
"I love you Maxon." I said as we reach the door.
"I love you too." he said kissing me
As I open the door I see my whole family sitting there happy waiting for what they think is a get together, except for my mom.
"Hi everyone." I say having a voice crack.
"Hi America." Everyone said in unison
"I have asked you here so I could talk to you about something very important." I said with more voice cracks.
"Oh America in just so excited to hear the news!" May says like she can barely breathe.
Oh dear she thinks it is good news.
"Okay everyone don't get your hopes up please. I say holding back my tears.
"WE KNOW ITS A BABY!" May practically screams.
I squeezed Maxine hand so tight
"Not quite." I say feeling sad that I have to give them the news
"Guys I I... Have c c c cancer." I say trying to hold my tears but then I saw my family and burst into tears. May was crying into my moms shoulder and my mom was holding my brother by her side and crying into his hair. Now Maxon started crying and so was I. I just can't take it anymore... So I ran upstairs
