chapter 4

Josh and Colleen were on their husband and wife bus tour. They had already done a couple shows and were currently driving to the hotel they would stay at for the night. It was like 2 am and everyone was sleeping or trying to sleep at least in their bunks. Josh and Colleen slept in the bedroom at the back of the bus together. Josh was fast asleep. He never had any issues falling asleep, unlike Colleen who was still wide awake, stalking people on Twitter. After about a half hour or so, Colleen decided she would at least try to fall asleep. Soon after putting her phone down she became sleepy. But no matter how sleepy she was, she could just could not get comfortable to save her soul. Just then Josh rolled over. Colleen was worried she had woken him up but after looking at him she saw he was still fast asleep. Colleen decided to snuggle up against Josh. Instantly she became even more tired than she was before, and so was so comfy. Just as she was about to fall asleep, she felt the bus stop, and not like stop at a stop light or something, the bus had parked. She realized that they had arrived at the hotel. She gently shook Josh and he scwirmed a bit but didn't wake up. Colleen kissed his cheek to see if that would wake him up. His eyes fluttered open and she knew he was Still not awake. She leaned in and kissed his lips. At first he didn't kiss back because he was not awake enough to process what was happening, but once he did he instantly kissed her back and wrapped his arms around her waist while snuggling his head into the crook of her neck. "No, Josh babe. We are at the hotel. We have to go inside." Colleen spoke softly. "I don't wanna get up. I just wanna snuggle with you." Josh said digging his head even further into the crook Colleen neck. Colleen just laughed and said "Babe, we can snuggle all you want once we get in to the hotel okay?" Josh sighed replayed with "okay fine." as he began to get out of bed. Everyone was so tired that they decided they would just leave their stuff on the bus and get it in the morning. It was now 3 am and everyone had checked into their rooms. Josh opened the door to his and Colleen room and walked straigjt the to bed. Didn't look at anything else. He just crashed onto the bed. Collen laughed as she followed him and did the same. The second Colleen crawled into the bed she felt Josh's arms wrap around her and she smiled as she scooted closer to him and lightly kissed his lips. "Goodnight babe." she said. Josh was practically already asleep but he responded with a very light whisper almost impossible to be heard "I love you." Colleen just smiled even more thinking about how cute that was. Almost immediately after Josh fell asleep Colleen became extremely tired. She thought to herself, when ever I snuggle up against Josh, I instantly feel safe and I sleep like a baby. I should have done this hours ago. She then fell asleep in Josh's arms and slept through the rest of the night without a problem.
