chapter 7

Colleen's POV

I am so exhausted. I just went to Vidcon and I had a blast, but instead of being able to go home and relax once it was over, I had to go straight back to Vancouver. It kinda sucks because all I want to so is be home with Joshua. Of course I saw Joshua and spent time with him during Vidcon, but not how I wanted to. I wanted to be able to cuddle him, kiss him, and hug him 24/7 but I was so busy that I was unable to do that. I mean of course we kissed and said our goodbyes when he dropped me off at the airport before he headed home, but I just miss him. It's getting pretty late and the more I think about Josh, the more I want to see him and be with him. I decide to FaceTime because that's the best option I have.  I find his contact and hit call to begin the FaceTime.

Joshua's POV

It's petty late at night and I'm editing my vlog from Vidcon that I will be posting sometime in the next couple of days. I'm in the middle of working and I hear my phone ring, I pick it up and I see that it is a FaceTime call from Colleen. I instantly answer it and excitedly wait for the call to connect. The second I see Colleen's face pop up on my phone screen my face instantly lights up. "Hey babe" I say softly to Colleen as she smiles and responds with "Hi". Something must be up I think to myself. "Sweetheart you okay? Something wrong?" I ask concerned. "I'm just so tired Joshua" she says and before she let's out a yawn. "Then go to bed baby" I say with a slight chuckle. "I still have to change and take off my makeup, but I also want to talk to you" she says with sad eyes. "How about you take off your make up and get ready for bed at the same time as you talk to me" I say happily with a soft smile. I see her smile as she picks up her phone and walks into the bathroom to change and take off her makeup.

Colleen's POV

I just changed into one of Josh 's big t shirts he left here the last time he visited me as well as a pair of comfy undies. As I take off my makeup Josh and I talk. Not about anything in particular, just anything that comes up. As I finish taking off the last of my makeup I look down at my phone and see Josh with the biggest smile across his face. "What are you smiling at you fool" I say to him with slight giggle. He just laughs and says "You are just so beautiful". When he says that I feel butterflies in my stomach and I can feel that my face is blushing. I look at the time and see that it is 2:30 a.m. "Joshua babe" I say. "Yes?" he responds sweetly. "I gotta go to bed. I have to be up in a couple of hours for work. Thank you for talking with me tonight. I know you must be tired." I say. He responds "Babe I'm never too tired for you." I smile to myself and say "I love you Joshua". I see him smile and then he says, "I love you too Colleen, sleep well babe. I will talk to you tomorrow okay?" I quietly laugh to myself and say "Of course baby, goodnight". "Goodnight" is the last thing he says before the call ends. I turn off the lights and crawl into bed thinking about how Joshua can make my night go from awful to wonderful just by talking to me. My God do I love that man. Is the last thing I think to myself before I fall asleep.
