chapter 5

"Colleen babe" Joshua shouts to Colleen as she is sitting in her office editing. He shouts a couple times and each time no response. Josh decides to walk upstairs and check on Colleen. Normally if she was editing you would be able to hear different clips from the video, but as Josh walked up to the door he heard nothing. He slowly opened the door and saw Colleen sitting in her office chair with her arms crossed and resting her head on them. Josh just looks at her for a minute or two just thinking about how perfect she is. He then realized if she continued to sleep in that position she would have a very sore neck when she woke up. Josh gently lifted her out of the chair and began to walk to their bedroom. He softly placed her into their bed and began to cover her up with the covers. He leaned down and kissed her forehead. Just as he pulled away he felt colleen pull him back towards her. He laughed and said "babe I thought you were asleep." Colleen smiled and replied " I was, but while you were carrying me to bed I woke up. Can you stay with me for a bit baby?" "Colleen when have I ever said no to cuddling with you in bed? Or course I'll stay with you." Josh walked over to the other side of the bed and slid under the covers. Colleen turned her body so she was facing him. She wiggled herself close to him and Just stared into his eyes for awhile. God did she love his eyes. They were so perfect and blue. She could just get lost in them. After what seemed like no time Colleen fell back asleep. When she woke back up Josh was no longer in the bed so Colleen had assumed he had gone back downstairs to work or something. She reached for her phone and noticed she had a message from Joshua. She read it and smiled. Babe I'll be back soon. It's 6:30 and I thought you'd want something to eat when you woke up. I am out getting sushi. Just as she finished reading the text she heard the front door open and Josh walk in. Once Josh had walked into their bedroom Colleen literally jumped out of the bed and into his arms. "Woah babe. I was only gone for thirty minutes. Did you really miss me that much?" Josh said with a smile as he wrapped his arms around Colleens back. Colleen didn't say anything instead she just dug her head into Josh 's neck even further and tightened her arms she had wrapped around his neck. "I'll take that as a yes, you did miss me that much" Josh says while laughing. After a couple minutes of hugging, no talking, just being in each others arms they shared a soft kiss and began eating their dinner. The rest of their night consisted of cuddling, watching tv, playing board games and of course kissing. It was now 2 am and Colleen had fallen asleep on Josh while they were watching some tv show, Josh didn't feel like getting up and walking upstairs to their bed so instead he just turned off the tv and snuggled into Colleen and soon fell asleep on the couch. Just as Josh was about to fall asleep, one thought went through his mind.
My God I didn't think it was possible to love somebody this much. She's my everything.
