Snowfall

Chapter 1

Amethyst's POV

*bzzzzt* *bzzzzt*

I woke to the sound of my alarm clock ringing. I set it off leaving myself seating up while scratching my head, quite irritated. I was itching my eyes while looking for my phone around my room. When I finally found it, I looked at the date and the time.

6:43 am, Monday (First Day of Highschool)

I tossed my phone on the bed and then went back lying down hugging my pillow since I'm still sleepy. I was slowly drifting off to sleep again when I heard the door of my room creaking a little. I was still aware of what is happening but I chose not to budge off my position.

"Eris... Wake up, it's time to get ready for school." I heard a sweet voice calling my name.

I didn't move since I was still lazy and sleepy, I don't want to move.

"Eris, sis... Wake up now..." I heard her again.

I moved a little to see who's calling me while stroking my hair.

"Since when did you act so nice, Icy?" I asked her out of annoyance.

She's my elder sister, Icy. She's that one person who tried to wake me up a while ago.

"You brat, I'm being nice to you since it's the first day of school. Get up or I'll kick you off your bed." She said coldly, with a hint of irritation in her voice. There she is. She immediately slammed the door and went downstairs. And she woke up early today, which is very unusual.

Did I hear it right? It's the first day of school? I immediately took my phone and looked at the date again.

Oh, right! I saw this a while ago and I didn't even care. Just a good morning for me. I can't be late in the first day of school.

I went down heading my way to the kitchen. I can smell someone cooking. As I went there, I saw Icy preparing the plates. 

"Why up this early? You aren't usually like this.  And you're cooking, do you want us to die? And where's Nyx? Is she still asleep?" Just then Nyx got down scratching her head.

"Do I still need to answer your questions?" She smirked.

"And stop insulting my cooking skills, you know I'm bad at it and if you don't want to die yet, you say, go and cook the food." She added as she sat down in one seat along the long marble table.

"Where's Celine?" I asked her.

"She's upstairs she came back to sleep after disturbing my sleep on 5:00 am, just to prepare." She answered, while I rolled my eyes.

"Oh! I almost forgot, it was our first day in Adelline! I'm excited!" Nyx, my twin sister, exclaimed as she went near us. Then sat across my seat.

I was done cooking and so I prepared our food. We were eating when Icy suddenly spoke up.

"Make it fast you two. I still need to do things at school. Aunt needs me to organize the event later." Icy told us as she placed her plate in the sink.

"Why are you guys up so early?" Celine said, still yawning.

"Idiot. You were the one who disturbed my sleep." Icy said as she flicked Celine's forehead.

"Aigoo. You don't need to do that!" She wined as she rubbed her forehead. She's Icy's bestfriend.

"Celine, I thought you would be going to school with us?" Nyx asked as Celine widened her eyes.

"What? It's the first day today?!" She yelled which made me cover my ears.

"CELINE! Remember you're staying inside my house, stop shouting! I swear to let you stay outside the next time you yell like that!" Icy scolded.

"Oh, I'm sorry. I won't do it again." Celine said smiling terribly cute.

"JUST GET YOURSELVES PREPPED UP  ALREADY! We're getting late!" She shouted, enough to bring us all back to our senses.

I went to my room to take a shower. After doing my routines, I went to my closet only wearing a bath robe while drying my hair with a towel. I took my uniform, new uniform, rather, out of my closet and laid it on my bed. I looked at it carefully, as if I'm memorizing every inch of it.

It was a navy blue coat paired with a black blouse and an ash gray above-the-knee skirt. In the upper left part of my coat is the logo of Adelline University, together with my initials sewed below.

I'm already set to go when I heard my phone ringing, I looked at the caller's ID, but it isn't registered in my contacts. However, I accepted the call and was surprised to hear his voice.

"Eris..."
