Snowfall

Chapter 4

Amethyst's POV

"You'll get it in ten minutes."

"Thanks!" I answered.

I looked at my phone only to see some messages from old friends and school mates.

Ted:

Hey, where are you? I heard the owners of the school are coming in Circaga at 11 am, why aren't you two here?

I flashed a small smile to myself before replying.

Me:

I'm at Adelline, I transferred. I'm sorry I haven't told you. We'll catch up soon.

I've read more messages but I resisted the urge to reply them, telling one person what I was doing is enough. I'm pretty sure it will spread later, anyway.

"Thank you for coming visitors, we are happy to have you here. We're looking forward to see you next time." I heard some  facilities talking to my aunt and uncle heading down the stage. I bet the program for the visitors already ended.

"Thank you and you're welcome. We'll stay here for two weeks. We might visit both schools quite often if we're both available." Uncle answered as he snaked his arms around auntie's waist.

"Well, then. It's time to go." He smiled at the other visitors and went to our place. We stood up to meet them.

"Aren't you going to watch the performance of a famous boy group here, aunt?" Icy asked.

"We would love to, dear. But we have some errands to do." She smiled genuinely, and so we kissed her cheeks as well as uncle's.

"Alright. Take care aunt, uncle." Icy nodded at the oldies. We waved our hands at them as they went out the dome.

I scanned the dome and the students never descended in numbers. It stayed the same, even more, rather,  as if they knew we have more things to do.

Icy went up the stage flashing a big smile on her face.

"Hi guys!" She excitedly said, bolting up heads to turn to her direction.

"Ready for the question? Go get your papers on the side. I already have mine so go ahead!" She said. We did as she said and went back to our seats immediately.

"But... Before we proceed. You want to see Foren dancing?" She asked and the crowd went loud.

I also saw Analeigh and Nyx squealing beside me. What is happening?

"Hey, what's happening?" I nudged Nyx' arm.

"Girl, you're so late about the news. It's Foren! The boy group who'll perform right now! They're famous, really, really famous." She answered with sparkling eyes.

Twelve guys went up the stage and so Icy moved back a bit to give way. Before I could even ask another question, a guy with thick-rimmed glass came to me with a folder.

"You're Amethyst Jung. Am I right?" He asked in a cold tone.

"Y-yes. And who might you be?" I asked, creasing my brows.

"Here's Leo Legazpi. I'm sure you're looking for him?" He answered while giving me the folder.

I looked at him once more before he left. He was stiff and kind of trembling. I wonder why. I opened the folder and saw a profile of a guy named Leo Ken Legazpi.

As I scanned through the pages I saw more profiles who followed. I got confused because I was only curious of Leo, then he gave me a bunch of other guys I didn't even got interested with.

"Hey, ladies and gentlemen!" A guy from the stage shouted.

Before I could even look up, the crowd went wild and I heard different noises that made me cover my ears. These people are crazy!

"Chill, ladies. Missed us?" Another guy asked.

There were louder noises so I lost track of what I'm doing. This must be the boy group they call Foren. I looked at the picture of Leo and found him familiar. I looked back at the stage... and there I saw him...

"D-do you know who is Leo Legazpi?" I whispered at Analeigh.

"Oh, yes dear. He's a flower boy, you know. He's up there, in the middle. Next to Sebastian, the guy in blonde." She said not looking at me.

What the heck? This must be thw reason why Maureen got bullied a while ago! He's famous and well, handsome. I can't believe it.

"Are you guys ready?" A tall guy with an ear piercing asked.

"Yes!" The crowd answered.

They turned around and went up to their formation. I heard girls screaming their names, not knowing which is which.

"You're my X.O.X.O

L. O. V. E."

The song started. A tall guy was rapping infront, making some girls at the back go infront to scream his name, Adrian.

So, they were the guys in this folder, huh? Before I could even speculate more things, Icy slowly went down the stage and come to me. I immediately asked her a question.

"How'd you know he was the Leo I was looking for?" Pointing at Leo who was now dancing infront.

"Well, let's say, you won't be interested if I give you profiles of some nerds and normal Leo's here. Why, did I get it right?" She asked raising her brow.

"Well, yes. Anyway, thanks." I said while nodding.

"Pume ana,

X. O. X. O."

A guy who looks cute, at least for me, sang, winking at some girls infront. They're singing a Korean pop song.

I started to look at their profiles and knew, that a member of them is a past friend. That  must be why he looked familiar to me when I first saw him, earlier today.

I directed my eyes at him, not caring about what my first motive for Leo matter. I looked how he danced and rapped his lines in the stage.

I was looking at him while a small smile crept up my face. I wonder if he still remembers me.

"Hey, hey. Amethyst, isn't that Sebastian? You're old friend, before we left for Circaga?" Nyx said, shaking my thoughts.

"Yes, it was him." I smiled at her.

"Isn't he your crush, back then?" She told me innocently. I felt my cheeks heating up so I looked away.

"Come on, how do you say that?" I stared at her coldly.

"Oh, dear. I see, I see." She giggled and enjoyed the performance.

"Hm. As far as I know you're the one who likes him." I mocked her.

"N-no. I-it was... Dammit." She barely said. I smirked at her so she looked away.

Before the song ended, I scanned the profiles of Leo and his members.
