We drove to Ops to give Eric the laptop, and to see how Kensi and Deeks were doing. Sam informed me that Hetty has a job for us so we won't have a chance to see the pair yet.

Sam pulled up and we run through the doors leading into the NCIS headquarters.

I spot Hetty, Eric and Nell at the cluster of desks.

"How are they?" Sam asked once we get within earshot. Hetty appears out of nowhere, "We can only hope for the best Mr.Hanna." I note how she skirts around the real answer; Not really answering my question. We all knew that they wouldn't be out of surgery for a good while, but Sam was getting anxious.

"No news is good news right." Eric whispered, mostly to himself.

I take the silence to observe the three. Eric's dark blond hair stuck up in all directions and the ridiculous combination of goofy t-shirts and shorts looked especially wrinkled today. It's a good thing fashion sense isn't in his job description, I think.

Next to Eric, Nell was leaning over her tablet, staring intently on whatever was displayed on the screen. She was much shorter than the average person, but with intelligence to spare. Her concentrated expression shows some worry. Worry, I think, For the well being of Kensi and Deeks.

Saying Hetty is a mysteries woman would be an understatement. You never know what she's thinking or planning and her past is foggier than mine. The first mistake people make when meeting her is underestimating her abilities due to her height. Shorter than Nell, Hetty drives fear in the best of them.

"Nell, Eric, what happened?" I ask, urgency in my voice.

"We don't really know. We ca..." Eric begins again, only to have Nell interrupt.

"Can't find any cameras in the neighbourhood. We're still looking."

Hetty's phone starts ringing, she looks down at it then answers it. Worry is clearly written in her face.

"Is it the hospital?" i ask once Hetty hangs up.

"Yes, Mr.Deeks will be all right and is awake waiting for you gentleman to get there."

        "What about Kensi?" Sam questions.

"She will be fine, however she is still sleeping, so please do not let Mr.Deeks in her room."

We turn to go, but Hetty calls me back.

"Please bring Mr. Deeks back when you are done and i will need to speak to you after."

I nod my head and jog to where Sam was waiting, Ready to go make sure my agents were okay.

        Meanwhile, somewhere in Los Angeles.

'Where are we going" I stumble over an unidentifiable object.

I got the call at the hotel, that we were having an emergency meeting to talk about the girls fate. I didn't want to kidnap her but it was the only way to get to her dad.

About 10 minutes after the call, I had been waiting at the curb. That's when they put me in the back and blindfolded me.

There were voices up ahead i could barley hear do to the echo that the building made.
