Chapter17

Natalee's POV
After second period, maddy and I headed straight to the cafeteria. As we walked I saw Eddie, one of my best friends, standing there. Well you see, Eddie is my only guy Bestfriend, he's 18 and well.....gay. But that doesn't stop me from being his friend. Eddie is one of the presidential council room. He has his own pack of friends. I don't like them but I like him. He's so funny and he's really cute. I don't mind the fact that he's gay. But most people in this school do, and it's really annoying.
"Nataleeee" Eddie came and gave me a hug. I hugged him back. Maddy and the girls don't really like Eddie. They judge him before they even get to know him. Eddie doesn't mind it tho. They find him disgusting for being gay. Tho I did make it clear to them, they don't like him they don't like me. He is ONE of my best friends after all. People tease him because of his sexuality. A lot of people do. But I'm surprised that Mark doesn't. He actually stands up for Eddie. Idk why. Since Mark is like the 'leader' of his group and the ultimate bad boy of the school, people fear him.

"So would you go with me?" Huh? Wait was Eddie talking to me? I ZONED OUT DIDNT I?!
"Huh...?" He chuckles.
"Oh Natalee. Were you zoning out again?" His eyes smile is so adorable.
"Y-yeah." I nervously chuckle.
"As I was saying, since homecoming is near. Would you want to be my date?" Shizel! I forgot about homecoming.
"I would love to." Eddie is such a sweetheart. If Eddie wasn't gay. I swear he'll have girls tagging along him all the time.
"Really?!" Why does he look so shocked?
"Yes." I give him a sweet laugh.
"Ok I'll pick you up at 6:30." Wait when is homecoming?
"Wait when is homecoming?" I'm the president! I should know!!! How stupid.
"It's this Friday. OMG Natalee don't tell me you forgot...!" Oops.
"Pfft Ofc I didn't I was just testing you." I nervously laugh.
"Ok we'll see you! Surprise me aye?" He leaves and I wave at him.

"Sooo what were you talking to Eddie about?" Curious min as always.
"Well nothing much. He just asked me to homecoming." I shrugged. Min had a confused expression on.
"But I thought he was gay?" Tzuyu questions.
"He is. But I'm still going with him." It really didn't matter to me if he was bi or straight or homo, if I like him I like him too bad on you.
"Stop questioning her guys. Plus Eddie is one of her besties so let her be." Thank you Maddie.

After we had our lunch and discussed a few things about home coming the bell went off.
So apparently Jackson asked maddy and now they are going together. Min is going with Bambam. Tzuyu with yugyeom (tallies together) fei ended up with JB somehow. Jia with youngjae. Now how did this one happen? I thought they hated standing next to EACHOTHER? Now they are going together? Tf?? What about Emily? I shrugged the thoughts off as I headed to class.
"Nat wait." I turn to see junior running towards me.
"Oh hey junior." I gave him a sweet smile which he mirrored.
"Natalee I was wondering if you wanted to go homecoming with me...?" I really do want to go with you junior....but I said yes to someone else already. I frown.
"I want to say yes so badly but I'm afraid I can't....I already have a date." He looked disappointed.
"Your boyfriend..?"
"No no no. I'm going with Eddie. I don't have a boyfriend." I can feel my cheeks heat up. I look up to see junior smiling from ear to ear.
"Well then.....it's ok. I should've asked a bit earlier. Now I have to find a date..." He scratch the back of his head.
"Oh I might have a person." I smirked. He gave me a confused look.

Sheesh it's break2 detention time yay! Note the sarcasm. I walk in the class to see no one. Just great spending my break in an empty room by myself. Just great.

Just as I took my seat, the door swings open revealing the devil himself. He grinned at me. I glared at him.

"So I see I'll be spending my break with the one and only pres. OMG can I like get your autograph?!" He squealed like a teenage girl.
"Haha. What are you doing here tuan?"
"I'm here for detention." Ofc he is.
"What'd you do this time?" I rolled my eyes at him. He just smirked. I just want to slap that smirk off of his face right now.
"Oh you care about me?"
"In your dreams Tuan."
"Oh how hurtful. After all these years." He pretended to be hurt by my words as he dramatically put his hand on his chest.
"I'm serious. What did you do?"
"Nothing in particular. I just put my feet up on the desk and started playing on my phone. The teacher told me to give her my phone. And being the nice and polite guy I am I gave her my phone.."
"Really?!"
"No. Ofc I wouldn't give her my phone. Hello privacy?" I knew it. "And thats how I ended up here." I sighed.
"What? Were you expecting a murder case or something?" Pssht no.

"Sit down Mark" Mrs smith walks in. "You'll be able to leave once the bell goes. I'll be in the teachers lounge. I trust Natalee to be able to take care of you, Mark." She said as she gave both of us a stern look before heading out. I turn to look at Mark and I smirked at him. HA! NOW IT WAS MY TURN TO SMIRK YOU JERK! I should become a rapper.
"Soo....are you going homecoming?" I asked hoping to start a conversation with the douchebag of a boy sitting across of me.
"What? Want me to ask you to be my date? I didn't know you wanted me that much."
"Me? Want you? In your dreams. I'm just asking." I shrugged.
"To answer your question yes. Are you?"
"Yes." I look outside the window knowing our convo had come to an end but unfortunately not.
"Do you have a date?" I smirked at his question.
"Is this your way of asking me to be your date to home coming or something?" He just glared at me.
"Nah. Good girl and bad boy don't match. Anyway you going with junior?" How does he know about junior?
"No. But how do you know he asked me?"
"Well he wouldn't shut up about how he'll ask you. It was irritating me." He frowns.
"Jealous?" He shot his head up and glared at me. "No I'm not going with junior because I'm going with Eddie." I explained. He looked down at his phone.
"The gay guy?" That's a bit rude.
"Yeah...."
"I thought he would ask a guy since he's gay."
"What's wrong with going with a girl?" This jerk.
"Nothing I'm just saying."
"You know they will tease him."
"Yeah they do it every day. No matter how much you tell them to stop." He shrugged.
"Who are you going with?"
"Why would you care? Well I'll be going with one of my girls....?" It came out more of a question than a statement.
"Ok..."
