Chapter-1-Face to face

And they were there, again...
Like they had been million years ago. Cam, with his intense green gaze, was looking straight into the penetrating violet eyes of Daniel.
Were they here for yet another fight or for a talk? From their intense expressions somehow the latter did not seem likely.

They were standing in the woods, that seemed to be familiar to them. Yes, the woods of Sword & Cross it was.

Were they even going to speak a word to each other or just going to plunge into another fight? Everything was so quiet except their hearts. Its beating broke the silence of the woods.

But suddenly, as it had not been expected in ages, the frown on their faces melted into a cold embrace. Had the so-called other 'two sides' been there, they would have fainted at this sight.

And then, the cold embrace turned into a brotherly warm one.
It was time for a final talk. To clear all the differences of Daniel being an Angel and Cam being a Demon.

Suddenly tears welled up in Daniel's eyes (though he couldn't tell the cause of it), but he didn't let it to roll over his cheeks, he wiped them off with the hem of his shirt.

As they finally separated after a never ending embrace, Cam asked judging the grey eyes of Daniel, "What happened, Dan?" Daniel smiled and replied with his overwhelmed voice, "I feel that the missing part of my incomplete puzzle has finally fitted into the right place."
