Cam's POV~

I and Daniel were nearly sprinting towards the cemetery. There was a cause. A deadly one. Luce, actually was in danger.

The cemetery had always been a memorizer of unpleasant events. Penn's death, our fights and many more. The picnic with Luce was by far my best moment in the cemetery. I really feel now that I'd lost it that time. I know there was a storm of anger and restlessness whirling inside me, but trying to get Luce was more than useless. Trying to kill her was totally insane. I shouldn't have. I never wanted to.

Still, just again, we were there. Probably to witness yet another unpleasant scene. And, yes, what we saw as soon as we set a foot in the damp soil of the cemetery was, Jamie Parker, forcefully holding Luce and shutting her mouth with one hand. He had a knife in the other. He was literally thinking of slaying her.

Luce, on the other hand was protesting hard, hysterically throwing her legs and hands without any result. She was trying to shout out.

'Luce!', Daniel's heart screamed this time. Without even thinking about anything we ran towards Jamie, certainly to strangle him. Or, maybe, you can call it my plan because he wasn't worth anything else after that. I always knew he was part of the danger, but I just realized he was the danger.

We strolled and stopped around five feet away from him.

'Jamie just leave her alone,' Daniel spat. He was angry. Really angry. And it was totally acceptable. The violets in his eyes were burning. 'What the heck do you think you're doing, you jerk?', I roared.

We had just shot up some angry remarks and questions to him, but he probably wasn't interested in answering us. Rather, he smiled. Laughed. Talking to him at that moment felt as if you were instructing a one-year-old. Useless and frustrating.

I wanted my hands to do the talking. But as I and Daniel exchanged glances and stepped forward to give him some unseen surprises, he tucked out starshots from his jacket.

Hell!! Starshots!
FYI starshots are kinda like arrows, but they're of metal and they're deadly dangerous for an angel, or demon for that matter. The only thing in the universe we should beware of though.

We were taken aback. There were totally unimaginable events happening in there.
First, Jamie had kind of kidnapped Luce.
Second, his reason for this frantic move was unexplainable. Unknown.
Third, he had the starshots.

'This Jerk! I'm killing him, I don't care if he dusts me with the starshots,' I spat infuriatingly. He surely didn't know with whom he was messing.

'Cam,' Daniel leaned towards me and whispered, 'this is not intelligent of you to die. I mean we are here to save Luce, not to get you killed. It's not happening. Think of something else.' I had to nod. We had think of a better plan. We weren't just going to look into that ugly face of Jamie and do nothing.

'Hey, you Jamie Freaking Parker, you are such a little doll. Can't you just mess with us, a bit stronger people? Stop experimenting with the girl and step forward if you've got guts', I shouted trying to distract him. Either he had to leave Luce, or the brother-duo was going to certainly send him to a not so acceptable place.

'Hey Briel,' he finally parted his lips after all those frantic laughs of him, 'better you shut your gross mouth up or I'd just get a beautiful starshot through your heart or do you want me to hurt this pretty lady?,' he said, edging the knife, he was holding in the same hand he was strangling Luce with, closer to her. She jerked in his grip.
