The Cops POV

I led him to the questioning room and I set up the lying detector. I had him take a seat and hooked him up to it. "Mr. Brian," I started, "The last time you saw her, what happened?" He looked into the only light in the room. "She walked out of the house with tears I her eyes. I thought she had a fight with her best friend, Rose, so I let her walk to the forest and to our tree." He told me. "But it wasn't a fight. Did you guys have any misunderstandings in the past few weeks?" I asked writing down what he said. "I was ignoring her. And so was her parents because, I wanted to propose. I wanted to ignore her till, 3 weeks of not talking to her. The night she died I went to the tree with the ring and, there she was, dead." He informed me. The lying detector didn't go off. He wasn't lying. "One more question, Mr. Brian. Or should I call you Mr. Welch?" I ask making sure he didn't feel uncomfortable, "You can call me Mr. Brian." He told me. "Why did you ignore her?"
