This cannot be happening.

"Oh my God, are you- Cassie?" The dimwit said.

"Yes, as a matter of fact, I am Cassie, Tristan,"

"I'm so sorry for bumping onto you,"

"No worries, but may I ask, what in the bloody hell are you doing back here in Australia?" I smiled.

"Well, I would like to tell but we're sort of in an awkward situation," he smirked.

He was right. I was sitting on the filthy street and he was practically standing and looking down on me. I felt like a beggar asking him for some alms. Not to mention his professional look with inserted, rolled-up long sleeves, khaki pants and a pair of Raybands.

"Here, let me help you," he offered his hand for me to grab on.

"Thank you," I whispered as he pulled me up.

Slowly, I began to remove the invisible dust that covered around my body. He cleared his throat and was about to say something when I cut him off.

"Have you seen my board"

"What?" He looked at me confusingly.

"Nevermind, there it is," I pointed at the nearby pavement. "Can you wait for a sec? I'm just going to get it."

"Sure."

As soon as I reached my board, I picked it up and examined it flaws thankfully there was none.

"Cassandra!" I heard Tristan yell.

"Yeah, Coming," I went towards him

"Come on then, let me buy you a drink." he said as he opened the café's door for me.

"So what brings you here again?" I asked as soon as we got to our table.

"Um, you see, nanny Jamie died-"

"Oh my God, I'm so sor-"

"Let me finish, so yeah, she died 3 days ago and it was a good thing that I finished my exams and projects early so my professors allowed me to come home," he trailed off.

It was hard for me to look at him because I can see the pain in his eyes. He was a die-hard gradma's boy. He was practically raised by his grandmum when his real mum went to New York and work there.

"I'm so sorry to hear that, anyways, How's my big bro?" I wanted to change  the subject for him.

"Old Willy?" He laughed, "Still on the same track, good grades, soccer and hard working,"

"And what about his girls?" I raised my eyebrow.

"Only one, fortunately. They've been on two months ago,"

"That bloody bastard really didn't tell me anything about that," He laughed at my statement.

"Gosh, Cassie, you've really grown since I left. It was quite a long time since I last saw you,"

"Well, changes have been done for the past three years Tris," I frowned "You don't come home every time Liam does,"

"Mum doesn't like to be left alone in New York again. She wants me beside her since I got there," he smiled a little, "To tell you the truth, I was a little bit happy that grandma died-"

I smacked his arm, "What the hell?"

"No, I don't mean like that, I mean, When she died, mum wanted to come back as soon as she can and so did I, and because of that, I get to see you and other people,"
