"Psst, NOVA, wake up." I whispered and shook her shoulder. She let out a defiant growl and rolled away from me. "Come on, babe. I've got something important to tell you."

"If it's less important than your breakfast tomorrow morning you'll let me sleep." She growled at me and cuddled up in her blankets. "NOVA, please? I promise it's important."

Silence.

"NOVA? I know you aren't asleep. Come on, don't do this to me now."

Still silence.

"NOVA, NOVA, NOVA, NOVA, NOVA-"

"What the **** do you want?!" She finally sat up, aggravated. I smirked and ruffled her hair with one arm. "Morning." NOVA blinked multiple times before her eyes adjusted. Light shown into our boat house.

I couldn't help but stare into her irritated red orbs. "You are so not a morning person." I grinned at her as I rolled over her body and put my feet onto the floor. I prepared to fix my own breakfast and help NOVA clean our tiny boat  house.

NOVA rolled off the bed, I mean, she literally rolled onto the floor. "LuUuUUuUuuuCAS!! Pull me up!!" She yelled. I chuckled as I easily threw her over my shoulders and flopped her on the couch. She smiled up at me. Her hair a mess, dripping down her face, sticking to her checks, she looked so cute.

"What did you want to tell me?" She asked and flipped her head, getting her hair out of her face. "Oh, right, I just thought that it would interest you in knowing that today, 5 years ago, was the day I fell in love with you.

"Really now? That's interesting." She smiled as her eyes fell shut again. "What was it again? The reason you 'fell' in love with me?" I chuckled at her. "It was simple, you were funny, focused, mature, and you were simply cute. Plus, your body wasn't that bad looking either." I added with a wink.

In my bed, I'm rolling over

"You were so cute, always reading those books of yours. You focused so hard on school, but you couldn't stop talking. I found it adorable." It was true, she was always pushing herself in school. However, she got distracted easily. Which was simply the cutest in the world; because then she'd get aggravated or upset.

"You sure do have weird turn ons." She chuckled at me.

"Oh gosh, NOVA, please, why do you ruin our moments?" I laughed, NOVA joined in and we both laughed together. "Your sense of humor is so twisted." I told her.

"Our sense of humor is twisted." She corrected me.
