Sally unlocked the door to her New York apartment and placed her keys on a little table. She walked into the living room, and if Annabeth hadn't been snoring Sally would've sat right on top of them. She looked down and saw Annabeth, wearing Percy's AHS sweatshirt, lying on top of a shirtless Percy. Figuring they hadn't had lunch, Sally went into the kitchen and made some sandwiches and soup. As she was stirring the soup, Percy came up behind her and hugged her waist. He put his head on her shoulder and sniffed. "Smells wonderful." He said softly. "Would you mind pouring a glass of milk for you two?" Sally asked. "Sure thing, mother-dearest." Percy replied as he got out the blue milk. (He somehow always managed to take some food coloring and pour it in.) After all of the food was ready, Percy went to the couch and kissed Annabeth until her eyes fluttered open. "My Prince Charming" Annabeth said sarcastically. "Don't you know it." Percy said with his little smirk. Percy picked up a still half-asleep Annabeth bridal-style and carried her into the kitchen.
After every sandwich was eaten and the soup was all gone, Percy suggested that he and Annabeth go read together in the hammock set up in his bedroom. Annabeth agreed and Sally said she was going to run to the store. Percy walked into his room as Annabeth looked for her book. Percy jumped onto the hammock, causing it to almost rip out of the ceiling. Annabeth just rolled her eyes and said "schooch over Seaweed Brain." She climbed in and half sat on Percy, and rested her head on his shoulder. They were barely in that position for 5 minutes before Percy started kissing Annabeth's neck. "Percyyyy." Annabeth complained as she wiggled out of the way but tried not to smile. "yes?" Percy said, trying his hardest to sound innocent. "I am trying to read." Annabeth stated. "Read what?" Percy said as he smacked the book onto the floor. "ughhh. Seaweed br..." Percy interrupted her with a gentle kiss. Annabeth, still melting into the kiss, climbed on top of Percy. The kiss became more violent and Percy's hair was tangled in Annabeth's hair, and Annabeth's hands ran along his neck. After a couple more minutes, Percy pulls away and their foreheads touch as they smile. Annabeth lays her head on Percy's chest and falls asleep to the rhythmic beating of his heart...
*one hour later*
Percy wakes up to find Annabeth breathing fast and shallow. Her eyes are squeezed shut and she is starting to thrash. Percy shakes her and lies "sorry, you smacked my face in your sleep." Annabeth doesn't respond, she just reaches her hand up and traces his jawline. "I love you" she whispers in his ear before drifting back off to sleep, secure in Percy's tan arms. Percy looks worriedly down at the love of his life and strokes her hair until he hears Paul open the front door...
