The camp was pretty deserted with everyone gone for the start of school. Nico, who was being forced by Hades to attend high school, lingered, pretending to clean up. Then, from across camp, coming from the cabins, he heard what sounded a little like Mozart's 40th symphony in G minor being played on the piano. As he quietly walked towards the music, it turned into a dark, foreboding sound as though someone was playing strictly on the left side of the piano. Nico identified Poseidon's cabin as the one with the sound and he cautiously opened the door and stepped in. It was dark, but Nico could see a familiar outline. As the sound of the piano diminished, Nico could faintly hear the sound of Percy's crying. Percy lifted his hands off the keys, composed himself, stood up slowly, and turned to see Nico sitting on his bed. "I didn't know you could play", Nico said lightly. Percy, too startled to ask how much Nico had seen, simply mumbled "I was forced to take lessons when I was 9". Nico, not wanting to upset Percy by mentioning the crying, hoisted himself off the bed and tilted his head as if to invite Percy to walk with him...
