Chapter Five

Mitch

 I walked up to Lorain's house and knocked on her door. A couple of seconds later, her mom answered the door. "Hello", she smiled. "Hi Mrs.Williams, Im Lorain's friend and I just wanted to drop off this gift for her." "Im sorry but she isn't here right now". "Where is she?" I asked. "She is at Bryan's house for the night, do you want me to give it to her then?" "No it's fine, ill give it to her later, but thank you and Merry Christmas." And I left. I couldn't believe she is with that asshole. Ever since they have been going out, Bryan and I stopped being friends. He knew I liked her and now he is with her? What a friend I have. I'll just have to give this to her later.

Three months later

Lorain

 "Bryan stop, we need to focus on this so we dont fail it", I laughed. "I just can't help it babe, I love you so much." Its been three months after Christmas break and Bryan and I have been getting ready for our finals so we can graduate high school. Im finally almost done with school. Bryan and I got even closer and I can really see us being together for a long time. "Babe, can you just stop with that so we can get busy", he laughed. "No we really have to finish this, and im not going to do it with you until we finish it", I replied. He looked hurt, "fine". It took us a couple of hours but we finally got the paper done. "Well I got to go", he said getting up. "You don't want to stay for dinner?" I asked. "No I have to go anyway", he just left with that. He didnt even give a kiss goodbye. What's his problem, just because I didnt want to have sex he had to get mad.

 The next day at school Bryan didn't even talk to me. I just minded my business and I really didn't care. "Hey", Mitch came up to me. "Hi", I smiled at him. "What is wrong with Bryan? He shouldn't be that way with you", he put his arm around me. "I don't really care, I don't know why he is mad at me but it's whatever." He walked me to class and then gave me hug. I walked into spanish class and Bryan was just staring at us looking pissed off. "I'll see you later Lorain", he smiled at me. "Bye", I smiled back. When I got to my seat Bryan just looked at me like shocking. "What?" I asked. He didn't answer he just kept looking at me. Later on in the period Bryan came over to me and sat down. "Why did you do that?" he looked confused and mad. "I did nothing Mitch just wanted me to walk with him to class", I said. "Well I don't like it, he is starting to get all over you and I want to stay away from him", he said angry. "No! You don't tell me what to do!" I started yelling. People started to stare at us. "Would you calm down." "No! Why don't you just leave me alone Bryan and do your own business", I just walked away. The bell rang and I started to run to Mitch's car. Tears were coming down my eyes. Why is he being such a dick. "Hey! What's wrong Lorain?", Mitch said with concerned eyes. "Nothing just please take me home", he wrapped his arms around me. "Don't worry I will, Did he hurt you? God I will kill him", he said angry. "No please just take me home", I cried.

 Mitch dropped me off and carried me to my room. "Are you sure your going to be alright", he said. "Yes im fine, thank you", I smiled at him. " Your welcome". Then he kissed me on the forehead and left. I started to drift off into sleep. My phone rang next to me and it said Bryan on the screen. I ignored it and tried to fall back asleep.

Bryan

 Why isn't she answering my call? I know I have been being an asshole to her but I miss her. I haven't been feeling well and my parents were getting a divorce. I know she has been taking it the wrong way but I just don't feel like talking to anyone right now. I tried calling her back but no answer. It's been wrong of me to do that with her but its how I deal with things. A minute later, I recieved a text from Jessica. "Meet me at the cafe." What does she want? I haven't spoken to her ever since we broke up. Maybe I should go though. I thought about it. Then I grabbed my jacket and left.

"Hi!" Jessica squealed when I walked up to her. "Hey", I said back. "Well Im so happy you made it! I've missed you so much Bryan." "Why did you bring me here Jessica." "Well I haven't seen you awhile and we haven't spoken. I thought that we should try all over again. Try us again", she smiled. "Jessica, we broke up. There is no us anymore. I love Lorain and her and I are together." She just looked at me. Then the waiter came over and we ordered our drinks. Jessica kept staring at me. "Why can't you be with me? I know you still love me not her!" She finally said. I started to get up and walk away from her. I can't deal with this right now. "Bryan please wait! im sorry, I shouldn't be that way with you, you don't deserve that", she looked down. "Its fine, do you just want to come over for a little?" She smiled, "Yes! of course I do." I know this is a bad thing to do but I feel bad for her. We got to my house and I went and got her a drink. "So Bryan, I haven't been here in a long time", she looked at me. She grabbed at my shirt and started to unbutton it. "Jessica, what are you doing?" I asked surprised. "I wanted you when we were dating and I still want you now", she exclaimed. She took me to my bedroom and pushed me down onto my bed. She started to take off her top the to her bra. "Jessica! stop it! I have a girlfriend who I love, this is wrong!", I shouted. "I don't care whatsoever", she leaned down and started to kiss me.

Lorain

 I listened to Bryan's message that he left on my phone. I decided to go to his house and forgive him. I mean it's been tough for him and I do miss him alot. I got into my car and started to drive to his house. I rang the doorbell but no one answered. I knocked like five times but nothing happened. Then I tried for the door knob and it opened. "Hello", I said through the hallway. Then I heard some noise coming from his bedroom. I opened is door and what I saw was the most disgusting scene I have ever seen. And which I will never forget. Jessica was ontop of Bryan showing her bra and kissing him. Bryan looked at me "Lorain no its not what you think", he looked sad. "I know exactly what it is", I shouted at him. I ran downstairs and out the door. Tears started to spill down my face. I couldn't believe that bastard. Mitch was right, he was going to hurt me. I never want to speak to him again. My phone started to vibrate beside me and it said Bryan's name. Fuck you asshole and I threw the phone at the backseat. I got home and ran straight to my room. I started to cry even more and layed on my bed, My mom came running in. "Honey, What's wrong?Don't cry, whatever it is you can tell me", she said. "Mom you can't fix it! It already has been done!", I shouted and cried even more. All of a sudden I felt like I was going to puke. I quickly ran into my bathroom and started throwing up in the toliet."Honey its okay, just let it all out", she rubbed my back and picked up my hair. "Have you been sick?" She asked. After I was done, I rinsed my mouth out. I felt better but I knew I didnt feel sick at all. "No mom, I haven't been sick and I don't feel sick at all", I said with a worried look on my face. What could this be?
