below the petals

chapter 2

Mink awoke exited to climb the petals. But suddenly she remembered that she decided to stay home because she felt very guilty for not only lying to her parents, but also breaking the rule to the fairy rule book. She went over to her mom to see what she could help with. her mom made her a to do list:

.bake for the party
.deliver dust to the council
.clean the petals
.put away outfits
.visit friend Katrina for eating time
.buy outfits,dishes,decorations

First we went into the kitchen to bake. "We have to make shakers,runchies,hummicks,duntins,semas and cream fakes." "K" i said. the shakers were easy to make. All we needed to do was mix milk,eggs,sugar,ice cream and ice then freeze them in the iceicle. Next we made the runchies which were hard but not complicated to make. We had to mix eggs,milk,chocolate,flour,sugar and butter then bake them in the coal. Then we made the hummicks which were really hard to make. we had a hard time crushing the chickpeas and adding the onions which we also had to crush wich caused us to cry. Then we had to mix them together which was hard because it was still very thick.then we had to freeze it in the iceicle. 4th we made the duntins which were kind of easy and hard to make at the same time. We mixed flour, sugar,eggs and buter rolled them into circles then cut out a hole in the middle and baked them in the coal. 5th we made the semas  which were super easy to make for all we had to do was put them in the coal sense we borrowed them from tho coucil. Last we made cream fakes which were hard.we had to mix flour,sugar,butter and eggs then put cream on them. Then we made another layer of dough and put it over the cream then put it in the coal. Next we had to deliver the dust to the council. We talked along the way. "Mom have you ever wondered what its like above the petals" I asked. " sometimes but I would rather not talk about that." " Why" I asked. "Because it is a rather dangerous,disgusting world that is not one bit good at all." " Well what would you say if I asked you if I could go there." "I would say that there is no possible way that either me or your father would let you go." "But I am 13 now I can take care of myself, you do realize im not 2 any more right?" " Of course i do im just...just nervous that you'll get hurt so the answer is no." "Now let's hurry on over to the council so we can clean our petal ..ok." "Fine" I said.We got to the council "what are you here for" asked the fairy at the desk. " To drop off some dust for the council" my mom said. "Ok" the fairy said. We went home and quickly cleaned the petal. We dusted the shelves,the petal,the coal the iceicle and the furniture. Then my mom sent me to my petal  to put away my outfits while she put away hers. First I put away my dresses for they were the biggest and harder to stuff in my closet. Then I put away my skirts and my shirts. And last I put away my pants. When I was done I asked my mom if she was finished.She replied "yes" so we both went over to Katrina's petal. First we ate lunch with her. Then we stayed for 1 more hour in which my mom talked with Katrina and I played with Katrina's 5 year old daughter daisy. Daisy was adoreable she asked me if I could play dolls with her. Though I was 13 and too old to play dolls,I did for I did not want to upset Daisy. then we went over to the shop to buy a outfit for the party tommorow for my fathers birthday and some decorations to decorate the house with for the party. By the time we got home it was time for me to go to sleep so I got in bed and drifted of to sleep.
