Feenin'...

Chapter 4: Just Hanging out...

It was Saturday and I was getting ready to meet Gia. Last night I had asked her if she wanted to hang out but she told me she was heading to her friend's pool party and invited me. It happens that Lola will be there also.

Picking Gia up, we make it to her friend's house. There were a lot of cars already so it looked like it was going to be a big party. Stepping out of the car I go around and open hers. Just because I'm not interested in her, doesn't mean that I won't be a gentleman. The nicer I am and treat her, the more she will be willing to give me the information that I need about Lola.

Thanking me, she wraps her arm around mine and guides me towards the house. She opens the door and the loud music automatically hits you. 

"Gia! You made it!" a girl screams running to her and engulfs her in a hug.

"Sheyla...how are you?" she says back.

"Good! Wow...you're Colin Kaepernick!" she says glancing over at me. 

"I am...hi." I tell her sticking out my hand to introduce myself. 

"Hello sexy! I'm Sheyla, Gia's better looking friend!" she says smiling...o-kay.

Gia elbowed her laughing. "Don't listen to her Colin...she's just mad that I brought the best looking guy here to the party."

"Maybe!" Sheyla shrugs her shoulder then wraps an arm on Gia and my arm pulling us towards the outside where the music was playing. 

"Is Lola here?" Gia asked from nowhere making me pay attention.

"Yeah, she's outside." Sheyla responded. Good I get to see her...without her boyfriend, hopefully.

We made it outside where there must of been at least thirty to fifty people eating, drinking or dancing. The backyard was big with a pool in the center of it and a jacuzzi on the side which some people where in. The DJ was also on the side mixing it up.

I look around to see if I can find Lola. After a minute or so my eyes land on her. She was sitting down talking and laughing  with a few people. Even from where I was standing her smile made me smile. 

"Hey, Colin...do you want something to eat or drink?" Gia asks next to me.

"Yeah sure." I tell her following her to the table where there were an abundance of food.

On the way, Gia and I got some looks. Must be because people recognized who I was. I'm used to it though. Some even stopped to say hi to her which she introduced me too.

I kept glancing over to where Lola was and I noticed now she was standing by five guys who where laughing. Damn this girl attracts men which will piss me off once she is mine.

"Hey Gia...isn't that Lola over there?" I tell her pointing at her direction since I wanted to say hi.

Gia looked to where I was pointing and smiled nodding her head. "Yeap, that's her...!" grabbing my hand she pulled me into her direction. Finally I get to speak to her.

Reaching her I felt my heartbeat raise a bit. I can't believe the effect this girl has on me and I hardly know her. 

"Lola... hey hon!" Gia cheerfully says walking up to her with a smile.

Turning around, she gives Gia a smile. "Gia, you made it...finally!" she giggled and embraced her.

Pulling away she looks up at me confused. "Yeah, I'm finally here. Colin picked me up...I invited him." Gia tells her putting her arm around me again. I hope she doesn't become clingy.
