Promise Me This Is Forever

Chapter 1

*I do not own the Vampire Diaries at all.*

*Elena's POV*

"Why Stefan? Why did you do that?" asked Elena

"I didn't mean for you to see me. I want you to be protected." said Stefan

"How is feeding on someone helping protect me. You know what I told you that if you were to ever feed off of someone then I would break up with you but you still decided to feed off of someone and especially someone I knew. Isobel. Even though I don't count her as one she is still my biological mother. So we are over Stefan you promised me and you broke it so you need to leave." said Elena.

I was so done with the lying he told me he would never ever feed on someone again and would never be a ripper again.

"No Elena I will not leave you. I made a mistake. I'm sorry but now I can't take it back. I will not leave. I love you."

"I love you to Stefan but I'm not 'in' love with you." I said as I emissive the word in.

"Fine" is all he said and then his eyes got dark and he had a smirk on his face. As I tried to run for the door of my bathroom so I could get to Jeremy's room so I could get down stairs he vamp sped in front of me. When I tried to get to run the opposite way he grabbed me. At this point the only person who could help me was Alaric who was downstairs. He tried to remove my clothes and as I fought back and refused to allow him to touch me the best I could I tried to scream for Alaric.

"ALARIC" I screamed.

Then I had a hand over my mouth and my shirt and shorts off. I heard pounding of someone running up the stairs and knew that someone was coming for me. All I see is Alaric try to stop Stefan but I just told him to call Damon who was the only one who could possibly try and stop Stefan with no humanity.

About 2 minuets later I had no clothing on and Stefan had no shirt and was trying to get his shorts off of him when someone barged through my door probably shattering it into a million wooden splinters.

"Damon come help me please." I cried out to him with tears running down my face.

Within seconds Stefan was off of me and I knew I was safe for the time being. I look over and pulled a blanket over me and saw Damon break Stefan's neck.

He then ran over to me and pulled me into a hug.

"I'm so so so sorry Elena. He will never be near you again... I promise you that." Said Damon as I tried to control my breathing.

I then hear Alaric come racing up the stairs and someone else. I look and it was Jeremy. He looked like he wanted to kill someone but I couldn't deal with that right now. So I lean up to Damon's ear and said..."Can we go somewhere and can you get everyone to leave the room." "Absolutely."

"Hey Alaric I am going to take Stefan back to the Salvatore house and go somewhere with Elena for a little bit until I know it is ok to come back to Mystic Falls. Now can you guys leave so she can get dressed. "

So both of them left and I didn't move. I guess Damon knew that I wasn't planning on moving so he grabbed some pajama shorts and a t-shirt and picked me up and took me to he car and as he was leaving I started crying asking him to not leave me.

"I'm not going to leave you I just have to go get Stefan and tell Alaric to go and make sure he doesn't die while we are gone on our little adventure."

"ok"

After he came back out with Stefan we went to the Salvatore Boarding House and put him in the cellar and I quickly sent out a text message to everyone that I was leaving for a while and that if they want an explanation to give either me or Damon a call and that we would explain.

"So where are we going to?" Damon asked me.

"Anywhere but Mystic Falls. I can't be here."

"Of course."

Within the next few minuets I had my eyes close and apparently Damon thought I was asleep but I wasn't and I heard him say..." I'm so sorry Elena that I wasn't there to protect you and I will never allow him near you. You are my everything and it is my job to protect you but I failed and I'm sorry. I love you and now I know that I am in fact in love with you. You will always be safe. I promise you that."

Then my phone started to ring and so I sat up as if I was waking up and pick up my phone with out looking at the caller id and I listened after saying hello.

"Hi Elena I know that you are with Damon and I will find you no need to worry about that I will find you and you will be mine forever no need to forget that and Damon won't be ther to protect you so you better enjoy the time you have because after I find you no one will ever see you again even that boy of yours Damon. You will be mine. Love you see you soon Elena."

I just let the phone fall and I just started to stare off into blank space hearing Damon call my name even though I wouldn't look at him. I was in to much shock.

'...even that boy of yours Damon. You will be mine. Love you see you soon....'what did that mean. Was he going to hide me from the world. What was he going to do to me.
