Chapter 3

- Melli Xu as an assistant

I wear the last part of my make up on to my face. I look up at the mirror and see a total different person. It was good. I was changing how I looked because I didn't want to be seen on the media in any case while being with EXO. By doing this, no one will know it's me and so I will get my freedom when I'm out. I adjust the the black blouse I'm wearing and smooth out the bow. I'm wearing a similar black pants as yesterday but a bit looser. Putting on my 6'inch black high heel, I grab my purse that has my wallet, new phone, my phone, the contract and other needs. I close my front door and walk on to the streets to head towards SM Entertainment centre.

I arrive at the building at 5:40am just in time for my first day in work. I walk up to the counter and ask for Ji Min. The lady tells me to go in knock on Mr. Su's door. I was happy I knew the way to the office and confidently walked in. When I got to the door, I knock on it three times like Ji Min did last time and walk in.

"Hello Melli- oh, sorry, I thought you were Melli." Me. Su's voice boomed through the office. I look up to see Mr. Su leaning on the table with a folder on his hand. Ji Min was sitting on the desk going through the computer.

"Um... I am Melli." I say a bit uncomfortable. They both stopped doing their work.

"What?" They ask at the same time.

"I am Melli. I am just wearing make up." I say gesturing to my face. "You said I can change my look when I'm working." I state.

Ji Min stands up from her table and walks to me. She reaches for my arm and stroked it. "Melli, is that really you?"

"Yeah?" I say in question. "I've got the contract?" She nods and walks back. "Why? Does it look bad?" I ask touching my face. Maybe it's too much.

"No, no, no. It's fine. We just couldn't recognise you. That's good if that's what you were looking for." Mr. Su says. I nod and walk forward.

"So, am I starting today?" I ask excited. They nod.

"The boys were supposed to be here by now but I guess they are not awake yet. They had late night shoot yesterday and were tired." Ji Min explains.

"You know what? I was supposed to go there and wake them up, but since you are here, why don't you go? You can tell them that you are their new assistant there anyways." Mr. Su interrupted. Ji Min agreed.

"Yes you should. And the car Mr. Su ordered has arrived so you can drive that to the house." Ji Min added but then paused. "You do know how to drive, right?" She asked. I nod but wasn't feeling that this was such a good idea.

"Umm... Shouldn't I wait here for them? I mean, going into their house and stuff. They will be in their rooms right?" The two of them nodded.

"But that's the thing Melli. You are their personal assistant, you have to get used to their environment and things."     Mr. Su explained. In the end, I gave up and let them win. "Okay, so your car is outside, I'll call the front desk and tell them to give you the keys. Good luck on your first day of work!" Mr. Su wished me and got Ji Min to push me out of the office.

Walking back down to the ground floor, I ask for the keys and jog out. I turn the key around to see the brand of the car and oh my sugar! It was an Audi! I quickly raced to the garage excited to see the car and asked the guard to open the door. When the car came into view I signed happily and put on a huge smile. "My baby!" I coo as I get closer. It was blue and silver blended. It looked beautiful. I checked it out first on the outside and finally climbed in. "So comfy!!!" I sit happily. Then I realised why I have this car and turned on the vehicle. Telling the man outside the door that I will be coming in late, I drive down the exit of the building and drive to the main road.
