Chapter 2

I zipped up my last suitcase. Yes, I had more than one. Three to be exact. I pushed it towards the door, waiting on my brother to help me carry them down stairs to his car. I look at my appearance for the drive.

My hair was in a messy bun, I had my cute black glasses on, my white lifeguard hoodie and black sweats on. I slip on my elephant slippers and dash down stairs. I see my mom on the phone fussing around the kitchen while feeding Lizzy and Lilly lunch. I throw open the fridge and grab a popsicle. Healthy lunch I know.

I soon regret my choice because Lizzy opens her mouth in a whiney tone " How come Sky gets ice cream for Lunch? " She bounces up and down pulling on my moms shirt. Her brown pigtails hop along with her. Lilly agrees and begins to follow what Lizzy is doing. They looked so cute in their blue sundresses. Hardly could tell between them two.

I stopped admiring the twins when I hear a loud grunt. I slowly look up to see my mom glaring at me like she's imagining she's killing me in her head. I smirk and walk away.

"Bye Mom, we love you too!" My brother shouts out of the car for the tenth time. He sighs and rubs his hand through his hair. The girls wave cutely at mom while she blows them kisses. We pull out of the drive and head to Dad's.

I lean my head back on the seat " Finally. I thought Mom was gonna decide to not let us go and take us with her." Ethan chuckled. " You'd rather go with Dad then go around the world with Ma?"

I rolled my eyes "Ethan you know my answer to that, Mom in a heartbeat." He nods now putting full attention on the road. I sighed and pulled out a magazine. After finishing it, I realized the car was awfully quiet for two 4 year olds in the back seat. I turned around to see them both passed out, drool coming out of their mouths.

I grinned and took a picture. They were too darn cute.

5 hours later I feel someone shaking me awake.

"Sky wake up, we're here."

I yawn and look to see that indeed we were here.

His house was a huge country home that looked as if it was built for a family of 10. You could see his red barn that was a little back from his house with a couple of horses sticking their heads out the open windows. All around the back yard were cows fenced in eating grass and HUGE hay barros.. I hate to say it but, the area was actually cute. I would of actually felt welcomed if it weren't for my dad standing in front waving and grinning like the McDonalds clown.

I gave a fake smile and waved pathetically.

Oh god help me.
