Nemesis (newt) Part2

I wake to the sound of an alarm blaring, I cover my ears and hope that the god awful noise goes away, and with my luck. It doesn't. I sit up and stretch. Someone bangs on my door.

I stand up groggily, and open the door to find an annoyed looking Newt. I roll my eyes and go to close my door but he stops it with his foot. "Breakfast" he mumbles then walks away. I roll my eyes at him and put on my shoes, tying my hair up and walking out. I walk to the kitchen and Frypan gives me a smile and hands me my plate. I smile back and take it gratefully. "Hey Charmaine over here!" a chubby boy waves his hand up, beckoning me over, I see he's sitting with Newt. I shake my head at him and sit at a table by myself.

I eat breakfast, then walk over to Alby, who is going to give me the tour.

"Morning Charmaine" Alby says and we start walking "Morning" I mumble. We walk around for about 2 hours when an alarm starts going off. I cover my ears "WHAT IS THAT?" I screech but Alby just looks absolutely terrified. "The box!" he yells running towards it, I have no choice but to follow. "What do you mean the box? Doesn't it come every week?" I ask but Alby just shakes his head. "That alarm means we got another Greenbean. That's not normal" he says still looking terrified.

The metal doors open a cute dark haired boy with pale skin and dark eyes stare up at us. They pull him up and his eyes search the crowd but they stop when they land on me. He eyes me wearily. "Charmaine?" he asks and everyone turns to me. "I have no idea who he is!" I yell but no one seems to believe me. "I'm Thomas. Charmaine it's me Thomas!" he yells but I still don't know who he is.

"Yo-you don't rem-remember m-me?" he asks tears filling his eyes. I look over at Alby completely confused, he just stares back at me, just as confused. "Um no... Who are you??" I ask him but he just shakes his head "I'm your brother! Charmaine how do you not remember me?" he asks "How do you remember me? No one in this place remembers anything. So why do you remember me?" I ask him but he just looks down.

"Do you know him?" Alby asks me but I shake my head. "I have no idea who he is!" I yell at Alby but he just sighs. "You're 100% sure?" he asks and I nod my head.

"Alright, show him to his sleeping area and get him some food" Alby grumbles and I shake my head. "Come on Thomas or whoever the hell you are" I say and we walk to my sleeping area. "You'll sleep next to me, seeing as that's the only available spot for the moment, and now we're going to get some food from Frypan" I say and he looks confused "Frypan?" he asks almost laughing. "Yes Frypan. He's the cook here" I say and he nods. I get him something to eat and he says thanks , I respond with an eye roll.

"So what's this with saying we're brother and sister?" I ask Thomas and he swallows his mouth full. "I'm not exactly sure. I just felt like I knew you. Like we'd been brother and sister. Inseparable. I'm not exactly sure if it was blood related or like your best friend kind of sister/brother thing. I just felt like we were close. I don't think we're blood. I think we're just best friends" he says explaining, I nod even though I don't know what he means.
