Chapter 2: Date Night!

** Kayla POV**

Last night was so much fun. I'm so glad my mom forced me to go to Laraine's house. And I'm glad that Wes and I got to catch up. I really like him. He has my number and I have been waiting for him to text me, or call me, or something, but I can't take it. I don't to make the first move so I  decide to wait for him to. I went downstairs to make myself some lunch, and my phone started to ring. I knew it had to be Wesley because I don't really talk to anyone I was in school with anymore.

"Hey Wes!" i said way to excited as I answered the phone.

"Hey Kayla! I was wondering, maybe you want to go out to dinner tonight? I know we live 45 Minutes away from eachother, but I can come pick you up. Sound okay?"

"That sounds great! Where are we going?"

"That's for me to know, and you to find out!" he said, it's almost like I could hear him smiling.

"Alright then, I'll see you tonight, Wes!"

"See you tonight!"

Okay, now I'm really excited. And so happy I have a date with Wesley. I mean, I think it's a date.

I decide to take a shower and blow dry my curly hair straight. Then I put on my make up and turned on some music while I attempted to pick out an outfit, which took forever because I didn't know where we were going, so I couldn't plan accordingly! But I ended up wearing a pair of hot pink shorts, and a white peplum top that was sleeveless. My brown hair is down to the bottom of my rib cage when it is straight, so it looked pretty nice. I also put on some white sandals and some pink jewelry.

I waited around for a while then my mom came home from work. "Where are you going all fancy looking?" She asked me.

"I'm going on a..date. mom." I said a little awkward because she has no idea about me and Wesley. "Oh! A date with who? Is he nice? Cute? Do I know him? Is he older than you? Did he go to school with you?"

"Mom I'm going on a date with Wes." I said laughing a little at all of her questions.

"Wes? Stromberg? I wonder if Lauraine knows! I always wanted this to happen!" She said, really excitedly.. "Mom just calm down. It's just a date.."

"Well honey, you look very cute." "Thanks mom." I said giving her a hug. Then the doorbell rang. I walked to the door and opened it. Wes looks as sexy as ever. He was wearing a white and orange tank top with a pair of shorts and a snapback. He looked so hot. "You look gorgeous." He said to me with a smile. "You don't look bad yourself." I replied biting my lip.

"So I didn't know you two had a thing for eachother." My mom chimed in. "Ha, me either until last night!" Wes said, still looking at me. "Well, we should probably get going.."

And with that, we walked out to Wesley's car.

**Wesley POV**

I can't get over how amazing she looks. I'm so excited about tonight. I opened her door for her and she got in the car, then I walked around and got in and we drove off. "So..Where are we going?" She asked me, curious. "We, are going to a seafood restaurant on the beach." I said looking at her. "Awesome!" she said "which one?" I'm not exactly sure what it's called, but it's a few miles north of Huntington, so its about 20 mins away."

The car ride there was kinda silent. I wasn't really sure what to say.

We got to the restaurant and got seated right away since we had reservations. I just loved looking at Kayla, her hair, her body, her smile, her beauty, she's just amazing. We started talking about singing and I told her about Emblem3 and how after the X Factor we were planning to do some local shows around LA and stuff. "Wow! That's awesome! I'm so proud of you guys! I knew music is what you all would end up doing, I knew you loved it when we all used to pretend to be in a band." Kayla said to me. I'm glad she is happy for us.

We ordered our food and ate and talked. I told her about what coul happen if we won, and we talked anout what she wanted to do as a career. She said she would love to have her own line of makeup brushes and just have a job of making girls feel confident. Which is awesome.

**Kayla POV**

We finished eating and headed back to his car. Wes is such a gentleman. I was really starting to like everything about him. We started to head back to my house and Wes held my hand. It felt so..right. We talked about so much at dinner tonight and I'm so glad I have gotten to know him. Things are different then they were when we were kids, but I love it. I'm glad things are different.

We got back to my house and Wes walked me to my door. He was still gripping onto my hand and as we got to my doorstep he turned so we were facing each other. "Tonight was fun, and I'm glad we have started to get to know eachother again." He said without breaking eye contact. "I had a lot of fun too. And I'm glad we started talking again too, Wes. I really like you." He leaned in so our foreheads are touching,

"Oh and by the way," he said "You're extremely gorgeous." and then he leaned in slowly, and kissd me. While taking his tand and putting them behind my neck. We kissed for a few minutes before I pulled away. Best kiss of my life. He smiled at me biting his lip, then said "I'll call you tomorrow." then gave me a peck on the cheeck. And headed back to his car. I went inside and laid on my bed thinking about everything that just happened. And I wouldn't mind Wes being my boyfriend.

Sooo this is chapter 2! I actually really liked writing this chapter. and if its a little long, im sorry! Haha! Well, Im reallllllly looking forward to the next chapter. Make sure to vote and give feedback :D LUV U BBZ
