Chapter 6 (Il Suo Angelo)

Elizabeth's POV

Hours have flied so fast we're now on a plane heading towards Italy, from there we're gonna drive towards Volterra as my mom have told me earlier. I let out a soft sigh thinking of Seth, because he left and I wasn't able to say goodbye to him. I felt a soft tap in my shoulder and saw my dad. "You alright princess?" He asked in which I shook my head with a small frown, thinking this trip was to sudden and quick.

"I think Seth is mad at me.." I said as I bit the bottom of my lips slightly, Dad kissed the top of my head and messed my hair slightly. "You two will be fine soon, kiddo.. As soon as we get back. Don't worry okay?" He said and smiled at me warmly. "Okay dad." "By the way.. When are you and mom gonna explain, why are we going to Italy again." I said looking at him and as if as a cue Mom came and sat next to my other side. "Honey.. We can't let anything bad happen to you, that's why we have to agree on going to Volterra for two weeks." Mom said with a small frown as she held my hand. "We will get back to Forks soon, don't worry you aunts and uncles will visit us next week or soon." She added with a small smile this time as she caressed my head slightly.

We got infront of a clock tower that has a fountain infront, with few tourist people walking around and taking pictures. You wouldn't think a thousand years of vampires lurk around in this small town because of the sunny and cool weather here. We went inside a castle like palace and saw few amazing paintings that would have probably dated hundred years ago, I walked ahead from my parents a little enjoying the paintings that hanged around the stoned wall. I then stopped when I heard someone cleared a throat, turning around I saw him. I felt myself once again in awed struck like the first time we had met, my heart is beating in quite unusual pace. "Alec.." I managed to speak up as he walk up to me slowly with a neutral face reaction.

He took my hand from the right and kissed it from the back softly, when his lips had came in contact with my skin I felt a small shock that made me blush. "Elizabeth.." Alec said with a smile while still holding my hand with his. We stared at each other but it didn't last long when my parents found me along with Jane, Felix and Demetri. "Elizabeth.. Come here." Mom said I snapped back to reality and pulled myself away from Alec and walked towards where my parents are, whilst slightly glancing back at Alec.

"Aro would like to meet you three, come follow me." Jane said and started to walk ahead with Demetri, Felix and Alec following her behind soon. As we got to a throne room we saw them three again seated in each thrones, Aro was smiling happily like a child who had finally attain his favorite toy like. "I welcome you Cullens to our humble well home." He said without the smile leaving his lips, My mom and dad didn't really feel like pleased being here but they said its for me to be safe so they had to keep an eye on me. "My daughter is tired from the plane ride, where will our rooms will be?" Mom said impatiently towards Aro who was just smiling calmly. "Ah yes.. Young Elizabeth, your rooms will be directed by four of them. Go on and have a great stay." He said and then we started to follow them again.

My room is right across from my parents room which is great just incase of emergencies. I sat down in the bed and let out a soft sigh while analyzing the whole room that looked quite elegant in gold-red decorations. I sat up and went to the balcony and saw a big garden with a medium size of labyrinth in the middle that made me feel excited to explore, but before I get the chance to imagine on going there I heard a knock in the door. "Come in.." I called out and looked back to see my parents. "Honey.. We're just gonna go on a hunt, we won't be long.. I had order you some italian pasta just the way you like.. So you can eat okay?" My mom said as she walked up to me and hugged me tightly. "Don't let anyone in okay? Especially the twins, okay Elizabeth?" I nodded my head and smiled at my mom and dad. "We'll be back kiddo, don't get in trouble.." Dad said and with that they went away leaving me in my room to wait for my food.

My food had arrived an hour ago which I already ate, now I'm feeling bored since my parents weren't still back. I had went and change into my cream white dress and gold sandals before going outside, all I have to do is avoid the twins like my mom said. I walked around the halls of the castle while humming softly and trailing my hand into the wall slightly, when I finally reached the garden I smiled happily and went around to look at the flowers that reminded me the meadow back home.

A butterfly flew around me then slowly stopped in my index finger, I smiled softly at it as I carefully adjust my hand and enjoy my silent moment with it.

End of Elizabeth's POV -> Alec's POV

I was walking down the halls of the castle when that particular scent caught my sense, just like that I was intoxicated by her again. I followed it and leads me to the garden where I see her standing being absolutely amazing like an Angel. I remember our encounter earlier I was amaze to myself that I was able to control myself around her, I walked forward behind her still watching her over then I felt a presence behind me. "She's the opposite of you Alec.." Master Marcus said while looking at her too, this time I saw her giggle when the butterfly flew into her nose. "Pardon Master, what do you mean?" I asked curiously looking at him then he sighs a bit. "Look at her.. Light and innocences posses her whole being and especially her heart." Marcus added and smiles a little, making me look where he was smiling. I saw Elizabeth smiling warmly at us and waving her hand. "Keep her safe young one." He said before leaving me and Elizabeth.

Elizabeth walked up to me which is quite a dangerous thing to do, I'm still very much afraid to hurt her. "Stay there.. Don't go near." I said coldly to make her back down and frown. "I-I'm sorry.." She said with her soft tone of voice. "Don't go near me ever again.." I said before rushing off and leaving her. I have to avoid her for her safety.

(Okay so i had to make marcus talk because he has barely talk in the movie or even the book and how is it so far? Do you think Elizabeth will soon realized what is happening.. How long are you guys gonna bet on Alec on how long will he keep his distance away from Elizabeth?)
