Stunned

Mae is dead in her tracks because of who she just saw moving in next door. But what she doesn't know is what is happening with him or does she.

Luke's pov~
I had a feeling I was being watched so I put on my best smirk before looking around but almost immediately I'm met with a pair of beautiful green eyes that I've seen before. Looking at the rest of her face noticing she has perfect olive skin with an almost dirty blonde not so dirty blonde hair that goes half way down her back. I know exactly who she is. She is Mae the varsity softball player that everyone knows about. I know your probably thinking "why is she stunned to see you" well i will tell you why...It all began in first grade me and Mae were always close we were best friends always together no matter what. Until the day in 7th grade her father decided to move to Australia because he was sick of the city. He thought also he would take Mae with him because her mother was always on business trips leaving her and her father alone. One night he had enough he told Mae to pack a bag they were going away for a bit. She left a letter for me on the fire escape because I lived right under her in our apartments. She had said that she will be gone for awhile and she promised to come back. But after a year of  her not being here as she said she would. I gave up and that's when I turned into the known bad boy I am today. I had fell for Mae but she didn't know at all. She then came back when we were juniors in high school and now we are seniors. We didn't talk ever only when she got back she asked me in class for a pencil. She didn't recognize me until I was called over the speaker to go to the principals office. (Hahaha typical bad boys right) Her face was shocked when I stood and walked out of the class and as usual I had a smirk forming onto my lips as I knew I would be suspended for beating the crap out of a boy who tried to hit my brand new black mustang. From there on she didn't say a word to me I could tell she was shocked that I was the boy everyone was talking about while she was away. So that is why she is so shocked to see the schools bad boy moving in next door to her. :)
