Chapter 5:New Plan/Waking Up

Punzel

I pull back from Flynn kissing me, almost forgetting how upset I was with him. Before I could fight with him more, I feel him pull me in for a hug. "Rapunzel, where have you been? I thought... I thought you were dead..." He whispers as he buries his face into my hair. "Flynn... Do you not remember what you did?" I ask confused, why was he being so... lovey? I feel him shake his head, "The only thing I remember is going to help Andrew and then... I woke up here, locked up." He says as he pulls back from me. I grab his face and look deep in his eyes, those brown eyes I couldn't help but fall for. "You're telling the truth..." I whisper. I hear him sigh in relief, "I course I am. Rapunzel, I would never hurt you. I love you." He says and I feel my heart beat faster.

"What about Jack though?" I say and I hear Flynn hiss, "Jack and I might not see eye to eye but I wouldn't kill him Punzel, he's your brother!" He yells. "I watched you kill him!" I yell and hit him in the chest, "You had your damn Chimera snap his neck!" I yell as I keep hitting him until I fell into his arms and start to cry. "You killed my brother and I still love you... How could this happen?" I feel him holding me, "But... You just said he was alive Punzel... Which means Elsa is alive also." I hear him say.

I look up at him, "Flynn... My brother is dead, he lost his memories... He won't remember me. Or anyone." I push back and move my hands through my hair, "Shit, he might not even remember we're in a game for our lives." I say and look at him. "Then we need to remind him. Punzel, we need to go get him and Elsa." Flynn says and tries to grab my hands but I pull them back, "I'm going to save them, you're going to jail. I'm not here to help you out." I say and feel tears go down my face as I look to the ground, "I'm here to say goodbye." I say.

"Rapunzel... You need me. You just told me you still love me. You know I didn't kill them or even try to kill them!" He yells which makes me flinch before I look back at him, "I know but I don't know if I can trust you again! Jesus Flynn... I'm scared." I say my voice shaking. "And you don't think I am? I'm locked in a jail cell, I couldn't use my powers to break out and you are trying to keep me here. I don't even know where my Chimera is!" "You... You can't use your powers?" I ask.

I see him nod, "Yeah, I don't know why." I touch my necklace... "I could... I could only transform into that detective and it was only for a few minutes... I'm losing control too." I say. I feel Flynn grab my hands, "I think it's because we weren't together. We are more powerful together Punzel, I know you believe that." I stood there looking at him and I knew right there, he was right. Finally I sigh, "I know, you're right. We have to work together." I see a smile go on Flynn's face. "I promise... I will make up for what happened, I'm going to help and protect you." He says and gives me a smirk.

I couldn't control my heart, no matter what happened, I still loved him. "Okay... We need to get Elsa and Jack." I say. I close my eyes and I feel myself start to change, my long blonde hair was getting shorter. I open my eyes to see Flynn smiling, "Welcome back Detective." I gave him a glare as I put my glasses back on. "Okay let's go." "Wait. I need my bike." He says and I roll my eyes, "I know where your bike is at..."

"Of course you do. Well, let's get my bike. Where are Elsa and Jack?" I hear him ask as I start to open the door. I took a deep breath, "They're at Albatraoz." I say as I open the door.

Elsa

I slowly open my eyes to see I'm in a small room pure white room with pad around the walls. I feel my eyes widen as I try to stand but feel something wrapped around my arms. I look down to see I was in a strait jacket. I move my shoulders but of course, the jacket wouldn't loosen up. I lend my head back put feel it land on a soft pad. "Great... How am I support to get of this?" I say to myself. I couldn't even use my powers. Ever since Jack died, I haven't been able to use my powers, or call Arctic...

But... Jack wasn't dead. I know that was him when I ran into him. But... Why didn't he recognize me? And why was he here? I don't even know why I'm here. All I could think about was Jack and the others. I need to get out of here. I closed my eyes and saw Jack's blue eyes looking at me which just makes me open my eyes again to hear the door being unlocked. I turn my head to see a guard with a big smile on his face. "Well runaway, it's time to take your meds." He says as he pulls a needle behind his back.

I start to scoot back by he just put his foot on my leg making me stop. "Not so fast beautiful, this little baby is just going to help you relax for a few hours. You won't feel a thing." He says as kicks his free food back to close the door. He reaches up and I feel the needle go into my neck. I hiss in a pain but not long, I feel my body relax and my shoulders go down.

"See, that wasn't so bad now, was it?" I hear the guard say as he starts to pull me up to him and unlocks the strait jacket. I feel my head go to the side, not having control of my body. I feel my arms become free but I can't lift them or move them. "Now, let's have some fun." He says and starts to kiss my neck. I close my eyes and feel a tear go down my face, I was powerless and alone. I feel the guard put his hand around my pants and start to pull them down when I hear the door open again.

"What the hell man...." I hear the guard say before I hear someone get punched. I open one eye to see a knight in shining armor. "Hey... Are you okay?" the knight says his voice deep just like I remembered. "J-Jack..." I whisper as he lends out his hand to me. "Come on, I'm getting you out of here." He says. "Can't... Move." I raise my arm a little just to point to the needle on the ground by the knocked out guard. Jack looks and I hear him sigh as he looks back at me. "Don't worry; I'm here to protect you. I may not know who you are, but I know I need to be with you." He whispers and he grabs my arm and pulls me up into his arms.

He lifts me up in a bridal style and starts to hold me close. "Why... Why does this feel... familiar?" I hear him ask himself as I feel my eyes start to close. "We... We..." I start to say trying to figure out why he doesn't remember me but I was just too weak, the mediation was starting to work more on me. "Shh... Don't talk; you're just going to ware yourself out more." I hear Jack say as we start to walk out the door. "What's your name?" He asks. I could feel my eyes starting to close all the way and I was starting to pass out. But before I saw my world turn to black I whisper, "Elsa."
