Silence is the most powerful scream
~ Anon
____________________________________She walked into the suburban building adults liked to call "school", or was well know as "hell" or "prison" by her peers. Dragged her check letter vans on the dull grey floor as she made her way to her locker which was on the other side of the school, by the old school library. It just so happen to be her favourite place in the school, it was quite and nobody was ever in there since they built a new one an the east block of the school.
She reached her locker noticing a few of Richmond High's prized possessions stood nearby. The cheerleaders. The effortlessly most beautiful and of course most popular girls of the school excluding some of the participating boy cheerleaders.
They stood just a few feet away from her, yet they still didn't notice her. Still, she was not surprised, she was used to it now, not being noticed by others. She kept herself to her small group of friends that consisted of three people; Zuhra, a very clever and confident Muslim girl, Alexus, who was named after her dads favourite car brand but the people who made her birth certificate thought her moms 'L' was a joint 'A' at the front and Christopher, who was a very openly gay that everyone loved. She liked it that way it had helped her to become more observant and knowledgeable on the schools' latest gossip.
The girls were speaking of a new "hot" 27 year old male teacher who had just been transferred to the school to teach history, and had moved in with his girlfriend.
"How do they know so much about him already?" she thought.
They continued to talk amongst themselves, when suddenly, Amber another rather beautiful and popular girl, however, she wasn't a cheerleader but the captain of the schools swim team, came running down the halls, as if she had something of great importance to share.
She was panting frantically by the time she caught up to the group of girls.
"Judah— he..." she said gasping as struggled to complete her sentence.
"What?! Did Judah cheat on Chelsea?!" One of the girls asked rather loudly in attempt to hide the satisfaction behind her tone. Shannon. She was what you'd call a dumb blonde but was rather academically intelligent.
Chelsea was Judah's girlfriend. They were the basic high school couple, she was not only a cheerleader but captain of the cheerleading squad and He was the captain of his lacrosse team. They were what the students called 'the perfect couple'. Everyone envied that which may be why she seemed happy when she sated that. As result of her comment their conversation had Maxx's full attention listening very intently to get every detail to tell to her friends."No," she said finally catching her breath,
"He tried to kill himself."
