The rays of the rising sun in this cold morning breeze shines through my bedroom window. Its warmth gently touches my skin as I let out a small smile and slowly open my eyes.

Its been a week + living in LA and everyday has been amazing.

Why? Well, I hadn't had much sleeping problems and I am starting to feel happier. Everything was really taking a positive turn and I can never be more blessed.

During this week, I made friends with a neighbour too!

His name is Sean Lew and he lives 3 blocks away from me. I bumped into him as I was exploring the neighbourhood park.

We instantly connected and it feels like we've known each other for ages.

*Beep Beep*
I look down at my phone and well well well, speaking of the devil. Its none other than the Sean Lew I was just talking about.

Lewser 😏💥: You ready for your first day of school today?????????????

Mikey.T 🌸: Calm down with your excitement Lewser..... I'm kinda scared

Lewser 😏💥: You'll be fineeee, c'mon its gonn be LIT OKAY?! I'll pick you up in a bit, see ya alligator ❤️

Mikey.T 🌸: Sigh, I hope so. See ya soon, love you too 💕

I pulled myself off of bed and literally dragged myself to the bathroom.

The week was going so well, now it has to come to an end.

Its the first day of highschool... Well for me. I'm honestly super anxious about it and can't stop thinking about the many ways of how it can turned out to be.

It's especially scary going to a new school in a new state with little to no one you know of. But I guess having Sean with me is enough, for now.

I got ready in half an hour before proceeding downstairs to see Sean laying on my couch.

"When did you get here?"

"I've been here since Day 1"

"Oh shut up sean, have you eaten breakfast?"

"Nope" He said popping the 'p' in the end

"Then get your ass to the kitchen and have breakfast with me"

"Well okay Mrs Bossy"

I glared at him before passing him a bowl with cereal and milk.

We sat that eating while exchanging glares at each other.

Suddenly Sean changes his expression into a goofy face. I can't help it but to choke on my cereal.

Sean burst out laughing at me and literally fell to the ground rolling.

"DUDE THAT WAS MEAN I COULD'VE DIED THERE"

"But did you die tho?" Sean said while giving me that smirk face emoji.

That's it man. I ran after him and then jumped on him before tackling him.

"What are you guys doing? Y'all are gonna be late"

Sean and I looked up and it was my mum walking down the stairs.

I turned my head towards the clock and we have 15 minutes before school start. I am NOT going to be late on my first day of school.

I quickly got up and took my bag from the kitchen counter before dragging Sean out the door.

"BYE MUM I LOVE YOU" I screamed

"Dude that was uncalled for, my ears hurt" Sean shake his ear with his pointer finger.

I just smack him at the back of his head before speeding to school. Lucky for us, school was only 5 minutes away.

Just as we reached school, Sean brought me to the office to collect my timetable and locker combination. Then I went to place my items inside my new locker.

The school was huge and looked exactly like the ones you see on TV. I could get lost in here if Sean wasn't with me.

After locking my locker, Sean took my timetable and went through it.

"Guess what?"

"What?" Giving him a curious look on my face

"We have all classes together!"

"Oh great" I said sarcastically.

Sean's face turned from excitement to pure devastation. He looked so cute upset.

"Hahahahahahah, i'm just kidding lewser. I'm glad we'll be together because I don't know what I will do without you"

I gave him a reassuring smile and we both indulge into big bear hug. Urgh this kid, he can be the sweetest and cutest even though I just met him.

The bell rang as we pulled apart from the hug.

"C'mon mikey, I want you to meet my friends!"

Sean grabbed my arm and started skipping down the hall way. I just giggled looking at how much of a child he is.
