It was dark. The clouds, all grey, had blocked the sunlight from reaching the surface. It wasn't that hard to realize that it was about to rain. You sighed and looked outside the window. The streets were empty. Only a few people, hurriedly making their way home, could be noticed.

"(F/n)!"

You turned away from the Window and faced the girl In front of you, it was your best friend.

"Are you even listening?" She faked a sad face, making you smile.

"I'm sorry Naomi. I'm listening now." you faced your head down  and pretended to be an extremely focused student taking important notes.

"Idiot!" She laughed and then continued her story.

Naomi was your best friend since high school. She wanted to tell you something important so you two decided to meet up at café Anteiku after school, as it was one of your favorite places to hang around. It felt nice and calming to be there. Plus, their coffee tasted delicious.
The important thing Naomi wanted to tell you turned out to be stories of her crush. But that didn't bother you. Aftet all, she had helped you out during bad times and had always been there for you. So this was the least you could do for her. You sighed again, soft enough so Naomi wouldn't be able to notice it and continued to listen.

"Hey (f/m), doesn't that guy look like your type?"

Naomi was pointing at someone who had just entered the café. You turned around to take a look. It was a heavily tattooed man with dark clothes and sunglasses on. A few piercings were visible on his face.
You blushed slightly and turned back to face Naomi.
"Don't point at people idiot!" You whispered angrily afraid that he might have heard or seen her.

She was right though. He was indeed your type. Somehow you felt attracted to men other girls would call someone who looks dangerous.

Naomi grinned as if reading the girl's mind.  "Don't worry he didn't notice."

"How do you know?" You asked her.

She hesitated for a moment.
"..He didn't."

Your hand made its way to your temple and you frowned.

"What does it matter anyway? It's not like you were planning to talk to him." Naomi sighed.

You looked around making sure the man didn't hear her.
Naomi was right.
It doesn't matter what a stranger thinks of me.
You finished your coffee and faced Naomi.
"If you're done talking, we should leave before it starts raining."

Naomi nodded and you both started packing.
