Fire Fire

Fire, fire burning bright,
Kept warm within thy light,
Burn with vengeance high,
What a wicked way to die

Fire, fire stoke thy flames,
'Till naught but ash remains
Scorch hence follies plight
Purge mine enemy this night

Fire, fire embers grow,
Envy I the amber glow.
Forbidden tis the touch
Blessed by blistered smutch

Fire, fire by thy scorn,
Solemn wish thy ne'er been born
Lick of flames upon thy skin
Burns away unrepentant sin

Cremation cleanses a sullied soul
Seared pitch, blackened coal
Screams of redemption naught heed
Ignoble intent to boil and bleed.
