A Dream Come True

Chapter 10

So, wow, long time no see. I've recently wanted to write again. So I reread my own stories and was actually bummed when I reached the last chapter that I wrote. So here we try again.

"Uhm.." I heard someone say at the door. I departed from the kiss and turned around, facing the person who was standing in the door.

"Wow." he said. "I can't believe you." I looked at Harry standing in the door with a weird expression.

"You can't believe me?" I said in a sarcastic way. How could he be upset about a kiss when he humped some other girl.

"Harry, I think you should go before you say anything stupid." Liam said.

"You just want me to leave so you can get in her pants!" Harry almost shouted at the both of us.

"Then I'll leave." I said and walked past Harry. "Oh, and by the way, you have no right to be upset about this." I continued before I walked down the stairs. I searched for Jess and found her on Niall's lap. "I'm leaving!" I said and looked at them.

"What? Why?" Jess asked.

"Liam and I kissed and Harry walked in and he got upset about it and I can't deal with this right now."

"Hold on! You and Liam kissed?" Niall said with wide eyes.

"Well, he kissed me and I didn't stop it." I said feeling embarrassed. Niall were about to say something but got interrupted by loud noise and yelling. We turned around and saw Liam and Harry falling down the stairs while fighting with each other. I walked over as they got up.

"Calm down!" I tried to scream at them and keeping them away from each other. Before I knew it everything went black.

I woke up in the hospital a few hours later. I looked around me and saw them all sitting there looking at me like I had been in a car accident and just woke up after 4 months in coma.

"what happened?" I asked. "Why does my head feel like it can explode?" I said holding one hand up against my head. They all looked at me with weird expressions. "Seriously guys! What happened?"

"I think maybe Harry wants to tell you that.." Liam responded and glanced over at Harry for a few seconds. I turned my face against Harry and waited for him to say something.

"Well, uhm." He whispered. "the thing is, it was an accident." I stared at him and waited for the rest of the story. "I was aiming for Liam but I accidentally hit you instead. And you fell pretty hard into the floor."

I grabbed my phone and entered camera. I flipped it to the front camera and looked at my blue, purple bruised face. My eye where swollen along with my left cheek.

"You have a concussion." Jess stated. I was too shocked about my face to even reply her. There were a silence for a few minutes.

"How bad is it?" I asked.

"It looks pretty bad." Niall answered. "But the doctor said you can go home if you have constant care for the next 24 hours."

"I'll take care of you!" Harry jumped in.

"You've done enough." I said angrily without looking at him. "Jess?"

"I can do it for a few hours but I have to go to this family dinner." She said.

"I can just stay here." I didn't want to, but it seemed like no one would take care of me either.

"I can take over when Jess leaves." Niall said and smiled at me. It was like he read my mind.

"That would be nice, thank you Niall."

We left the hospital and back to my apartment. The few hours Jessica where there with me went by in no time. I was sad to see her leave me, but I had Niall so I shouldn't be sad. 

"How are you feeling?" Niall asked as Jessica left.

"I don't know. I feel so empty." I said looking out the window. I had tried keeping my feelings and thoughts away, and now they have just piled up inside me. Tears left my eye, I didn't want Niall to see me like this. But before I knew it he had his arms around me and I bursted out in more tears. He held me while I cried, while all my feelings came out as tears. I felt so vulnerable and embarrassed.

I got myself together and wiped away the tears, trying not to touch the bruises.

"You'll get through it." He said. "You're a strong girl."

"Well, thanks." I tried to smile a bit. "I just don't feel like it this time."

"I understand that love, but we all believe in you." We hugged for a while. I didn't realise that the clock had turned so much, I was allowed to sleep but only for half an hour at each time.

"Will you wake me up in 30 minutes?" I asked Niall, he nodded as I got under the covers. I fell asleep before he left the room.

He woke me up 30 minutes later as he said he would. I thanked him and tried to step out of bed but felt dizzy right away. "Do you need anything?" Niall asked and ordered me back in bed.

"I'm hungry." I said. He walked out of the room quickly and came back 10 minutes later with food. He sat next to me in bed as we talked about everything and nothing.

"I shouldn't bring it up, but do you like Liam?"

"No, not in that way." I replied. I didn't eat much, but at least I ate something. "I only have eyes for one guy, but he broke my heart." Niall didn't know what to answer, but he was saved by Jessica walking in.

"How are you feeling sweetie?"

"I feel better than I did earlier today." I said trying to be positive. 

A few weeks have passed and my bruises are gone. I haven't seen or spoken to neither Liam or Harry since the accident. They have called and texted me a few times every day, but I never answered. I met up with Jessica after class and we sat down at the cafe.

"I'm so looking forward to winter break!" Jessica commented. I couldn't agree more.

"So do I, but I'm not looking forward to stay home the whole time."

"Didn't you get Niall's text?" 

"What text?" I questioned.

"We are all going to Bahamas."

"Oh, I can't afford that." I sighed and sipped from my hot chocolate.

"They are paying."

"You know I don't like it when people pay for me." I reminded her. "Besides, I don't want to spend a minute in the same room as Harry."

"It will be fun! Come on!" Jessica pouted.
