Getting Prepared

"When are we going?" I asked Jack as we shopped for the "items" we needed.
"Tonight. We'll sneak in around the back with these and bust him out" he said quietly as he held up some kind of saw, cutting, tool thingy.
"How did you save us earlier?" I asked with a puzzled face. The more I thought about it the more my brain hurt.
"I told you its a secret" he replied.
"Huh. OK then just tell me this, where are we going after we get Mark?"
"Just trust me. I'll keep us safe" Said jack in a mad tone. He sounded angry at something but I ignored it.
"Don't the guards stay over night?" I asked as we picked up two flashlights.
"Ya but we'll be fine" he said with a smirk.
"You're weird" I said laughing.
"Yup" he replied as we checked out our items.
"That'll be $62" said the cashier lady. Jack handed her the money and got his change and then we left.

"Get everything. When were done tonight we're going to have to run far away. Change everything." Said Jack as we packed up from the hotel.
I was finished packing and we were about to leave but I forgot one thing that I taped to the mirror earlier. A picture of my parents. It was all I had left of them.... other than memories. They looked happy and they were. I remebered the day they took me to the water park for the first time. I was 5.
"You shouldn't have her in the water too much dear" my mom told my dad.
"Aw but she loves it! Ok we'll take a break." Said my dad as he took me off his shoulders.
"WATER SLIDE! WATER SLIDE!" I heeled as I jumped up and down, pointing to the big purple water slide.
"Sigh fine let's go and let your dad get some rest" said my mom as she held my hand and walked me away. My dad mouthed the words thank you and lied down on the towel we spread out. That's all I remembered...
"You coming?!" Yelled Jack who was already half way out the door.
"Ya!" I yelled back as I grabbed the photo, stuffed it into my bag and left.
We finally left the hotel and headed to our destination.
Jack tried to make small talk in the car, "Scared?"
"Hell ya"
